Overlooking the estuary

By Gary on 07-May-2024

Lovely location overlooking the estuary and perfectly situated for walking into Lymington. Exceptionally clean, would definitely book to stay again

Lovely with 3 outdoor spaces

By Stephanie on 26-Apr-2024

My sister and I have now stayed at the cottage three times, two in September and again recently. We are always pleased to come back here! The cottage itself is lovely, outdoor spaces and a balcony. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with utensils and pans. Parking outside makes for a really simple arrival and leaving, no lugging bags any distance. Caroline always makes us feel very welcome, and she has comprehensive notes and information about local restaurants etc.. all really useful. Recommended for a peaceful stay.

Wish we had booked for two weeks

By Pat & Tony on 07-Apr-2024

“The cottage was spotlessly clean, with everything you might need should you wish to eat in, and the provision of milk, tea and coffee was greatly appreciated. Having designated parking onsite was also very beneficial, parking charges in Lymington are quite high and we found we only used the car when we visited the New Forest. Location is great, overlooking the marina where there is something going on all day, and only a short walk to the centre of town, or in the other direction the Lymington Nature Reserve. Despite it being early April we did manage to sit out on the balcony a few times which was very pleasant. We visited the New Forest a couple of times and the local nature reserve where we saw plenty of wildlife (think the heron likes his picture taken as he didn’t move for quite a while). The town has plenty of shops, boutiques, cafes, restaurants and bookshops. Caroline kindly gave us plenty of local information and we did use her recommendations for The Haven Restaurant and also Fishermans Rest. Would we return, most definitely, we had a lovely week, wished we had booked for two weeks. We really did have a lovely week, thank you.”
