We booked a weeks break around Easter in this lovely villa close to our flight plans and places we wanted to visit. Having stayed previously in a city centre we were looking forward to some rural peace and quiet and that's exactly what we got. Excellent communication with the owners during the booking process and prior to the stay made the check in really easy and hassle free. Beautiful villa situated in a mountain valley away from it all but not too distant from things to do and places to see. The villa itself was well maintained and spotlessly clean on our arrival and very welcoming. Any information we needed was either in the forwarded emails from the owners or just an email away. We used the villa with its lovely cooking and eating facilities as a base to explore the region from mountains to coast all just a half hour drive from home. The bed was very comfortable for us and it felt like a home away from home the whole time. It was essential to have a hire car for this property as it was a drive away from supermarkets , shops and restaurants. There was a bar restaurant in walking distance but we never visited it. We had a fantastic relaxing time in the villa and although the weather played a part in our activities at times we had a brilliant stay and wont hesitate to return at some point in the future.
Super property in a stunning location in the Sierra Cabrera hills. Waking up to sun and blue sky every morning (in the midst of the dreadful UK winter) was perfect! We stayed here for a month from mid December with our dog and had a restful and relaxing time. There is a large walled garden and loads of walks in the vicinity. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen and bathroom facilities clean and modern. The owners had left us an ample supply of logs for the very efficient wood burner, which is required after the sun drops as it can be quite chilly on winter evenings. There is reverse a/c for supplementary heating if required too. TV and internet worked well. Great communication with the owners Malcolm & Denise, and the property manager Sophie. You need a car to access shops in Turre, a 10 minute drive, and the wonderful clean unspoiled beaches 20 mins drive, where our dog could run free (out of bathing season!).There is a delightful bar/restaurant a 5 minute walk away. Thank you very much for our stay.
We spent a fabulous four weeks at Soto Verde. We had everything we could possibly need and were very comfortable. We had excellent contact with the owners and Sophie the property manager. Check in and out was very easy. All in all a five star stay!
