Quinta dos Sorrisos is a charming and restful oasis in the coastal countryside where we can mainly hear the silence and the birds. Our two typical Portuguese houses (tastefully renovated, designed and exceptionally well-equipped for carefree vacation and longer stays) stand next to a large organic garden.
STUDIO FIGUEIRA in our lovely farmhouse is facing east and west. It has fully equipped kitchen, living and eating room combined with bedroom, a separate bathroom with a washing machine, and a semi-private veranda. It offers a comfortable king size bed (mattress 180 x 200 cm), a bunk bed (mattresses 90 x 200 cm), and lots of storage space. A ceiling fan, an air conditioner and a floor heating assure our guests' year-round comfort. ● PRICES (low season: October-April / middle season: May-June & Sept. / high season: July & August) for:

Our prices INCLUDE: fully equipped accommodation, all utilities, (weekly) cleaning and bed linen change, washing of the accommodations’ textiles, final cleaning, parking within our gated property, use of our bicycles, and harvest of fresh produce from our organic garden. ● Our prices EXCLUDE: 6% VAT, tourist tax, meals, and charging of an electric vehicle. ● Municipal TOURIST TAX: a) from each guest of 16 years or more; b) for the first 5 nights only; c) 2 € per person per night from April to October and 1 € from November to March. ● You can find more details on our multilingual website, including our PROMOTIONS.
Bed linen, towels, bath towels, beach towels, a hair-dryer, and all essential toiletries (soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner) are provided. ● The washing machine and washing powder are in the bathroom, and you can use the dryer in the main house if needed. ● The kitchen has all the necessary utensils for cooking, a rich selection of spices, aromatics, and hot drinks. ● PRACTICAL HINT: Pack only clothes, toiletries and personal items, buy food and drinks nearby - everything else is already waiting for you.
There is a cosy covered PATIO with a long dining table in front of the farmhouse, a huge and peaceful TERRACE with sunbeds on the roof of the main house, and a beautiful VERANDA in front of the main house where you can join the hosts for a drink and a chat… maybe also a slice of cake. ● You can jog or take a walk around our property (2,6 ha), explore our organic GARDEN and enjoy its fresh produce.
You will be able to choose BIKES from our wide selection to get around. ● We also offer some sports and social ACTIVITIES (e.g. badminton, pétanque, cornhole, sjoelbak, board games). ● ADDITIONAL SERVICES: organic eggs; raw dried fruits and herbs; figgies (house speciality); home made bread, cakes and jams; breakfast and other meals; massage therapy; FAO airport shuttle: 50 € per ride; Fuseta train station shuttle: 10 € per ride.
Ten laying HENS and nine adorable FURRY FRIENDS keep us company: two German boxers (Tara & Yuna) and seven cats (long story). Both our boxers are friendly and playful, but if you are afraid of dogs or allergic to cats, Quinta dos Sorrisos is not the right choice for you.
Yes, life on our Quinta is truly colourful, fruitful, relaxing, and fun. Plus, we are only a short drive or bike ride to Moncarapacho (2,5 km), Ria Formosa natural park (3 km), nearest beach in Fuseta (5 km), ferries and train station in Fuseta, as well as near Olhão (10 km), picturesque Tavira (15 km), Faro (20), Spain (45 km), and merely 130 km from Sagres (the Algarve's westernmost city).

It has a fully equipped kitchen, a combined living and dining room, a bathroom, a laundry tower (washing machine & tumble dryer), a separate toilet, and a cosy covered patio with a long dining table in front of the house. ● PRICES: 6 pax/night: 170/200/230 €; 8 pax/night: 190/220/250 €; 6 persons one week: 1.100/1.300/1.495 €
Rooms Romãzeira and Oliveira are on the ground floor, next to each other. ROMÃZEIRA room has a comfortable king size bed (mattress 180 x 200 cm), lots of wardrobe space, a shower, a sink, a ceiling fan and air conditioner. OLIVEIRA room has a comfortable ottoman bed (mattress 140 x 200 cm), some wardrobe space, a ceiling fan and air conditioner. PINHEIRO room is the only one on the first floor. It has a comfy double bed (mattress 140 x 200 cm), wardrobe space, a private shower, a sink, an air conditioner and a private terrace. ● You can also rent each room separately, no problem.
TERRACOTTA room, a charming guest room in the main house, is south facing, with a comfortable queen-size bed (mattress 160 x 200 cm), some wardrobe space, and a private bathroom. Ceiling fan, air conditioner and floor heating assure our guests' year-round comfort.
