Welcome to Lyon Lodge nestled in the heart of Aberfeldy, where contemporary holiday lodge living meets Scottish Highland charm.
This inviting retreat has an open plan design that seamlessly integrates a cosy living room with wood burning stove, stylish dining area and a well-equipped kitchen, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and socialising.
Perfect for couples, families and friends - and dogs are welcome.
The lodge features a double bedroom with a well-appointed ensuite with walk-in shower. The twin room has two single beds and there is a main bathroom which also has a walk-in shower. Both bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed to provide a tranquil escape for a great night’s sleep.
Step outside onto the beautiful private garden to discover a delightful space for outdoor seating and dining, perfect for enjoying the fresh Highland air. You will be surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of Aberfeldy, the Strathtay Valley and the River Tay: this outdoor haven provides a picturesque backdrop for morning coffee, patio lunches, alfresco dining and evening drinks.
Private parking for guests is next to lodge on driveway (space for 2 cars).
Chill out at Lyon Lodge or explore the nearby hiking and cycling trails, stroll along the Tay River into Grandtully, or embrace the scenic Birks of Aberfeldy waterfall walk.
For those seeking more adventure, there are many local munros to climb and Aberfeldy offers opportunities for fishing, golfing and water sports. The world-famous Dewar’s Distillery is also less than 10-minutes’ walk from the lodge (guided tours are available along with a whisky tasting lounge and café).
Aberfeldy town centre is only 15-minutes’ walk from the lodge and guests can explore the town’s charming shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also a supermarket, deli and several bakeries to top up supplies.

Wonderful, scenic location and great amenities

Very clean, and had everything we needed. The layout of the lodge was great for our toddler too, as there was a separate room for him to be away from us. They provided a very good high chair and bits for the dog. Our toddler was also left some specific baby towels, which was a lovely touch. The communication was fantastic for directions, stay and overall. The lodge was equipped with books, children’s toys, board games, welcome snacks, wood for the fire and towels. Amazing views and 5 mins outside the lovely village of Aberfeldy. The lodge itself is very comfortable and very nicely furnished, beds are super, and obviously a lot of thought put into kitting it out with whatever you could need.
