Superb house in a superb setting
By Thomas R on 20-Oct-2018
The house was excellent. It was very comfortable, very well equipped and the decor was modern and imaginative. The views from the lounge were stunning. Aberporth was lovely, with two attractive bays. The food at The Ship Inn was very good, and reasonably priced. We liked Cardigan, and the Fishermans Rest became a favourite lunch stop. The coastal walk from Aberporth to Tresaith was easy, and the views were magnificent. Cenarth is well worth a visit, and Mwnt is a must. We will definitely go again, hopefully the weather will be better next time.
A fabulous house with breathtaking views of the Sea and coastline
By Ann C on 11-Jun-2018
This property caters for everyone ..and every need. It is modern, relaxing, beautifully decorated and faultless.I stayed here with my husband and elderly parents, the local beach is wonderful-the best I have ever visited, peaceful, safe and ideal for every age group. As a base to visit the Ceredigion and surrounding area Tir a Mor is the finest, I would chose this property every time. Cardigan, Newquay, Pembryn, Fishguard , Tenby, Carmarthen, The National Botanical Gardens of Wales, the Cliff Hotel at Gwbert and sailing all within easy reach. Our favourite was the beautiful evening strolls along the coastal path above the bay at Aberporth as the Sun set..The owner deserves a great deal of credit as this property is simply outstanding .
The discription doesn't do it justice Mrs Davies certainly has a winner.
By Stephen D on 28-May-2018
Description doesn't do it justice and Mrs Davies is so helpful the area is amazing and the young ones 4 and 6 loved the beach so clean, will definitely be back the view from lounge alone is worth going back on it's own.

An absolutely delightful property! The house is a short walk away from the lovely beaches in Aberporth. The layout of the kitchen downstairs and lounge upstairs means that the view of the sea can be appreciated from both. It is spotlessly cleaned, well furnished and well equipped with everything that we needed for our family of 6. The high chair and cot were really helpful to have. The Tesco in Cardigan delivers to the property so we had our shopping delivered on the afternoon of our arrival which saved us a trip out. I would not hesitate to re-book if we visit the area again.
Just what the doctor ordered!
By Peetee13 on 03-Oct-2017
We booked this house at the very last minute for a much needed break and the owner could not have been more helpful or accommodating. It was just what we were looking for with beautiful sea views and a short walk to the beach. The house was well equipped and the most comfortable beds we have found during our many years of holiday rentals. We would not hesitate to recommend the property or return for future visits. Thank you Joy for your swift communication and your help in booking.
Beautiful spacious house!
By Anon on 13-Sep-2017
This house was pristine - amazingly well-equipped and so tastefully decorated. The photographs on the site really, really do not do it justice! It's very spacious and light, and has a beautiful garden and amazing views. Every detail has been thought of, the colours in each room coordinate perfectly, and there's even a telescope in the lounge upstairs that you can use to watch the dolphins in the bay. This holiday home is within easy reach of many beautiful beaches, fantastic scenery and good places to eat. The house itself has many board games and books, two televisions and a bathroom for each bedroom. The hot water is HOT and plentiful. The Wi-Fi signal is strong, and the small TV in the kitchen is a smart television. The one upstairs is freesat with a massive range of channels. We would not hesitate to return here, and look forward to doing so in the near future. Top notch, five stars all the way!
The pictures of the house are great, but it real life if possible the house is even better!
By Miriam M on 12-Sep-2017
The pictures look great of the house, but if possible it is even better in real life! I stayed here with my husband, 2 year old daughter and my parents for a week. It is without a doubt the best house we have stayed in. Your can really see the time and effect the lovely owner has put into making the house so great, from the decor, to the setting, the gardens, the facilities in the house, the extras like games and lots of information on what to do in the area to just how clean the house is, top rated place to stay. The views from the house are stunning, and Aberporth itself is lovely. We enjoyed a few drinks and a meal in the Ship which was lovely. We explored the area and loved New Quay although we didn't see any Dolphins on our visit. The Weather was not on our side for week but we were able to get two afternoons in on the lovely beach in Aberporth, it was our little girls first time on a beach and she loved it!! The beaches are so clean and well looked after. We will be heading back to this lovely property in the future I am sure, cannot recommend it enough, we had a great family holiday and made lots of lovely memories.
Beautiful house, lovely location!
By Julie L on 03-Aug-2017
As a previous reviewer stated the photos really do not do the house justice! Spacious, spotlessly clean and plenty of kitchen equipment for a large family. The welcome bottle of wine, was a nice touch! We particularly loved the sea views from the upstairs lounge. Aberporth beach is literally minutes away, and you can walk to the beach. There is parking available, with a conveniently located chip shop and pub. Joy, the owner was a pleasure to deal with, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!!
Wonderful modern house very good located
By Stefanie B on 24-Jul-2017
We stayed in the house with 3 kids, 16, 15 and 12 years old. The house is very big and all of us loved it. The weather was good and we even were able to see dolphins and a very nice sunset on Tresaith Beach. Aberporth is good located with many attractions nearby. We loved to be here!
