We had a good feeling about this holiday from our very first contact with Susan & Ron. They couldn't have been any more helpful & even going so far as booking a taxi for us-( amazing service from Xavier!) & local car hire-also superb! The Villa & pool have to be seen to be believed-the nicest self catering accommodation that we've ever stayed in. The pool is huge & the outside space has so many different areas to sit in-lovely outdoor furniture.
The villa itself is superbly equipped-everything is of a quality & quantity that you would have in your own home & we loved that there were all the bits & pieces you would have at home- even down to a drawer of matches, cocktail sticks, cellotape , dishcloths etc. I really can't express how much we loved this villa-we'll definitely be returning.

Hope To Return To This Villa

Stayed in Villa Les Amandiers for two weeks in July. This is an extremely well equipped, attractive property with clean comfortable beds, efficient air conditioning (a must in temperatures of 30 plus), a great swimming pool and an outside eating area with super barbecue. Susan and Ron were friendly and helpful, giving information about restaurants and activities in the village, which is a short walk away.
A Beautiful Villa With A Great Pool
By Phil A on 05-Jul-2017
We loved Les Amandiers from the moment we saw it. Ronald was there to greet us and he and Sue were tremendously helpful even before we'd left the UK! The villa was spacious, clean and air-conditioned and had everything we needed - and the pool was a very good size and gave us hours of enjoyment, relaxing in the beautiful surroundings.
There's loads to see in the area (especially Carcassonne), and some good restaurants nearby - like Le Petit Auberge and Les Calicots, both within ten minutes' drive. Thoroughly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed a two week vacation here. The Villa was an absolute joy for the six of us- grandparents, parents and two grandchildren. The Villa is extremely well equipped; the BBQ area excellent and inviting; the aircon efficient and most welcome in August; and the pool wonderful.
Susan and Ron managed our stay with considerable expertise and helpful advice - so much so that we have already booked again for next year. Enough said!

Les Amandiers was an amazing holiday experience. As two families with 5/6 year old children we rented the gete for our two week summer holiday. The accommodation is to a very high standard with your every need covered for a relaxing two week break. The pool and gardens are secluded and safe for children which ensured a truly relaxing break for all. The Gete surpassed our expectations on all levels and unusually for holiday rentals the beds were incredibly comfortable. Susan and Ron were immediately responsive and helpful when needed. Can not recommend highly enough. We will definitely return in the future.
Well Designed And Comfortable Villa.
By Neil S on 25-Jul-2016
The villa is lovely. It is very well equipped for a comfortable hassle free stay. It is equipped and designed to high a standard. There are various eating areas outside, the bbq area being a lovely area to eat. We made full use of the bbq. Eating outside drinking locally produced wine was wonderful. The area is wonderful with a variety of places to visit to suit all tastes, from medieval towns to beaches with a good sprinkling of chateaus thrown in! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend Les Armandiers. Thank you to Sue and Ron who ensured we had a warm welcome and were easily contactable if the need arrived.

Superb Villa In A Lovely Old Village
By Paul W on 27-Aug-2015
A fabulous, well equipped and well maintained villa; just as in the pictures. We spent a lovely two weeks enjoying the pool and exploring the beautiful and historic area, eg Carcassone and Narbonne. Very peaceful and relaxing and air conditioning was welcome in the heat of summer. Very well managed and highly recommended. We would love to come back.
Beautiful Villa, Great Location
By Nicola Ferguson on 25-Aug-2015
We had a fantastic time at Les Amandiers. The villa is beautiful with lovely views over the village. It is very well equipped and the outdoor areas are especially good, with two eating areas (one with a huge American BBQ) and the pool area. The children spent most of their time in the pool, which we all loved.
The villa is located five minutes walk from the village - perfect for the boulangerie in the morning and the bar & pizzeria in the evening! The region is very unspoilt; would particularly recommend a trip to Carcassonne (40 minutes). We hope to return to this villa again!
A Calm Retreat In A Fascinating Part Of France. 4 Of 5
By Christine B on 03-Jul-2015
On the edge of a village with bar, shop, bank, butchers, bakers...everything! The house is open and airy with a beautiful pool and air conditioning (the temperature reached high 30s at times). The surrounding area has fascinating small villages and towns and many vinyards with degustations.
Lovely Les Amandiers

We spent a fabulous week at this lovely villa in charming St Laurent Cabrerisse. 5 star accommodation, a lovely boulangerie a few minutes walk away for fresh croissants in a morning, the spar is open most of the time for any groceries, 2 decent value for money restaurants in the village. Very quiet and peaceful, just what the doctor ordered.
