Spotless home from home in wonderful location!

This is a spacious, comfortable and relaxing holiday home in a quiet Norfolk village - wonderful coastal walks on the doorstep (would recommend the walk to Mundesley & look out for the seals or further up to Cromer). The Poachers Pocket is only 5/10 minutes walk along the coastal path and is highly recommended for food (book at the weekends as it does get busy). Will certainly return and hope to stay longer next time as there is so much to do in this area.
A nice quiet week spent in a nice clean and comfortable chalet

As above. If we were to visit Bacton again we would certainly consider this property again.

We loved the quiet location and couldnt get bored as there was plenty to do and see both inside the property and in the surrounding area. Lovely beachside walks to the Poachers Pocket Pub with great food and sea views in the evenings and the local cafe and chinese restaurant were Greatly appreciated during our stay too. Would definitely return.

Fantastic Weekend Break
By Beccy Ritchie on 10-Apr-2017
We booked this as a last minute getaway... and we were not disappointed! The accommodation was much more spacious than I thought it was going to be. It was bright and airy. I was very clean and tidy, with everything you would need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The beach was so close, perfect for morning dog walks. Lots of local amenities, highly recommend the Chinese takeaway! Everyone we met at the park was friendly, it was like a quiet little haven! The chalet is a great base for exploring the area. Would highly recommend!

Accommodation was a lot better than expected. Very clean and modern chalet. Location was great, literally a minutes walk to the beautiful, soft sand, dog friendly beach. Everything you could want/need was within walking distance. Absolutely beautiful chalet full of games, tv and everything you would need for a great holiday. The small touches like toys etc make all the difference to your stay!
Would definitely recommend.
We will be back!

Although the weather was poor it didn't spoil our stay at Stones Throw mainly because the accommodation was excellent!. The cottage was clean, well equipped and warm. We really had a great time and will come back again.
Beautiful place cant wait to return

I stayed in this cottage from 29th July 2016 for a week with my husband, two girls and our little dog Phoebe. I can't recommend this place enough, the cottage itself is like home from home and has absolutely everything you need, it's clean and welcoming and has a lovely greened area to the front where our children played out safely until dark.
The beach is on your doorstep which is lovely and our children and dog played for hours in and out the waves.
The extra little touches such as the outdoor games really made a difference, have already booked to return :)
Wonderful stay at Stones Throw
By Kim C. on 05-Sep-2015
My husband and I spent four nights here with our dog over Bank holiday weekend and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The cottage is exactly as described, with all the amenities one needs. It is well maintained, clean and very comfortable, with lots of little extras - toys, DVDs, books, etc. The location is perfect for a peaceful, relaxing break. The beach is indeed a "stones throw" away and is perfect for long walks or exercising dogs. The village pubs, shop, cafes and food outlets ( fish & chips and Chinese) are dog friendly and within easy walking distance and Bacton itself is well positioned for short drives to many coastal resorts. This was a "trial" holiday with our dog and we would have no hesitation in repeating it.

We had a great time here - lots of DVDs, games and outdoor toys to keep the children entertained and my husband and I loved the peaceful, friendly Rainbows End Park. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and this cottage is very central for other attractions in the area. Would highly recommend it.

Our stay here was amazing. The cottage was lovely. We felt very much at home. Everything you could need is supplied. The owners have thought of everything. We would totally recommend this cottage to our friends. Also a bonus stunning beach is very close. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing stay away from our usual manic lives. Jenny&Colin
Cosy Cottage in a great location
By Anonymous Ipswich on 21-Apr-2015
My husband and I stayed in the cottage for a weekend break and had a lovely relaxing time. The setting is peaceful, scenic and just a stone's throw from a wonderful sandy beach. The cottage is well equipped and very clean. The owners ensured that we had everything we needed for our stay and nothing was too much trouble. We'll definitely stay there again as it's a great place from which to explore the broads, the coast and visit the many attractions close by. We particularly enjoyed our trip to Horsey Beach where we saw hundreds of seals. The surrounding countryside is stunning and there are some great places for sightseeing and walking. Thoroughly recommended.
Perfectly welcoming and well equipped.

We've not long returned from a lovely few days here with our 2 children. Our first impression was how light, clean and homely it was and you are literally just minutes from a beautiful beach. The site itself is very peaceful and well maintained with a large green area that stretches to the beach. The owners have thought of everything that you would need for a family holiday including a selection of DVDs, Wii, board games and even outdoor sporting equipment. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it.
