Peacefully situated, these newly converted barns are positioned close to the owners grade 2 listed farmhouse and are surrounded by farmland which visitors are welcome to walk and explore. The land offers views over rolling hills and wooded valleys and from the highest points both Exmoor and Dartmoor can be seen in the distance. A carpet of bluebells fills the woods in late Spring. Some visitors may be lucky enough to see a wild deer or a buzzard soaring overhead. The property is close to Barnstaple with it's pannier market, shops, restaurants, cinema and leisure facilities. Exmoor, a haven for wildlife, horse-riders, fishermen and walkers alike is also within easy reach. The spectacular coastline and famous surfing beaches are about a half an hour away. North Devon boasts beautiful landscapes from rolling hills to wild and dramatic moorland; from stunning sandy beaches to sheer rugged cliffs. Peace and tranquillity, rolling hills, ancient woodland, a perfect rural retreat.

This accommodation is excellent. It is very tastefully furnished has the best quality wood fitments I have ever seen and Jackie, the owner, has provided just about every facility for a perfect holiday venue. Is perfectly peaceful and so dark at night is almost unreal. Our four days here were just perfect. We would recommend this accommodation without any hesitation what-so-ever. The location, down some very quiet and narrow lanes, is ideally placed for visiting, as we did, Clovelly, Lynton, Lynmouth, Westwood Ho!, Bude and Appledore.
Charming detached barn conversion.
