Two double bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, the other with twin beds.
Bedding is provided but towels are not.
Two shower rooms, but no baths I'm afraid. Both shower rooms are situated downstairs.
Activities
Four mountain bikes provided. Two sit-upon kayaks. Many games, cds, dvds and videos. Ideal for fishing.
Garden and outside
The cottage overlooks the River Blavet in a fairly secluded location. We have a very small private garden with barbecue and pergola. The grassy area in front of the cottage running down to the river is common land and accessible to all. It has become very popular in recent years, especially with fishermen, walkers and cyclists.
The cottage is set in a perfect location for bird-watching, wildlife watching - otters and kingfishers commonly seen. Plenty of scope for outdoor activities. The cottage is situated in a very beautiful part of rural France.

Suited our every need

By Pauline and Terry Haynes on 08-Sep-2022

We chose the Chez Pecheur gite, as from the Website, as it is located in South Brittany, a few yards from a wide river, 2 bedroomed, in the heart of the countryside, but only 10 mins from all amenities. The Gite lived up to all our hopes and expectations. Judy gave us all the necessary information on the gite, prior to our arrival. We found the cottage to be very clean and tidy on entry. It provided all the equipment and comfort we wanted throughout our stay. As we are anglers, the closeness of the River Blavet was so convenient and our tackle was stored in a spacious, secure building next to the Gite. We caught plenty of roach, bream and one tench - all in excellent condition. The wooden stairs to the bedrooms are steep and care is needed with them and the roof beams are low 'ish. But we coped with them fine.

Unwind on the Blavet

By Tony Lynn on 27-Aug-2022

We enjoyed a fantastic week in Chez Pecheur, the location could not be more rural, scenery is stunning & the accommodation is charming. We wanted to enjoy a slice of Brittany & the opportunity to unwind. We got all we expected & more. The fishing was a bonus, we didn’t expect to catch the variety of fish we did, was great fun. We look forward to returning one day & would highly recommend the property to anyone look for a quiet corner of France.

Wonderful peaceful location

By Claire Hogman on 13-Aug-2022

Well equipped cottage, in a very peaceful location. Having the use of bikes & kayaks was a real bonus, especially having the river and cycle path on our doorstep. One of the beds in the twin room was slightly shorter than a typical single bed, so more suited for younger children than mine, but they managed. Judy was really helpful and lovely to correspond with.
