Nestled in beautiful open countryside with fantastic views, Nanny End is one of only three cottages in this location created from an old farm steading with special attention paid to retaining detail and character. This opulent single storey stone cottage has a coastal country feel oozing charm, perfectly balanced with a contemporary ambience throughout. Guests are intrigued by the name, it is in fact named after the Long Nanny, a nearby stream. A short walk across open fields takes you to Beadnell Bay renowned for its extensive sweep of golden sands.

Accommodation is all on one level. Spacious and luxurious open plan lounge with table to comfortably seat 6, stone fireplace, log burning stove and door out to the garden. Off the lounge is the large kitchen with oak and granite work surfaces.
Master bedroom has king-size bed, en-suite shower room with WC and French styled furniture. Twin bedded room with blackout blinds.
Modern bathroom with over bath shower and WC. Underfloor heating throughout. All rooms are well appointed with views out to large garden and open countryside.

Services - Electricity and underfloor gas CH included. Log burning stove - initial supply of fuel provided.
Flat screen colour TV with Freeview. DVD. iPod dock with radio. Wi-Fi.
Gas hob. Electric oven. Dishwasher. Microwave. Fridge. Freezer. Washer/dryer. Travel cot. Highchair. Large enclosed lawned garden with 2 patios, furniture and barbecue.
Garage for storage. Off road parking for 2 cars, plus space for boat/trailer.
Shop/PO/pubs/restaurants in village. Duvets with linen and bath towels.

Short Breaks available in off peak season. 3 night stays are calculated at 75% of the weekly price and 4 night stays are charged at 85% of the weekly price.
Alexandra Cottage, in the village, is owned by the same family and is just a short safe walk across a field.

Beadnell's best kept secret.

second visit (and third booked) says it all really, spotlessly clean, tucked away from traffic (even the cows are quiet!) five minutes from the beach, ten minutes from a couple of good eateries (The Craster Arms in the village, catered for a specific need with no trouble) and the Bamburgh Castle Inn (Seahouses). Nanny End is very well maintained inside & out, excellent customer service before during and after from the owners. Location is spot on. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property...well I would actually because that would reduce the time we can go!

Secluded luxury!

What a beautiful cottage, we felt thoroughly spoilt. Nanny End is perfectly located for visiting Seahouses, Bamburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle, Craster etc and the cottage was a delight to come back to at the end of the day.

A fantastic property in beautiful location

We had a amazing time at Nanny's End. The property feels modern and comfortable, and has all the modern features you'd expect. The garden is beautiful, and the great Beadnell beach is just 10 mins walk over a field. We were lucky with the weather and spent our time exploring the many beautiful beaches down the coast. highly recommended for a family with young children

Property was modern well maintained and furnished, couldn't fault it. nice to see also interest in recycling

Beadnell was a pleasant village with satisfactory facilities for our needs. The beach was very good and we were able to walk to see the Arctic and Little terns at the other end of the beach

Lovely place to stay

Beautifully presented house. Comfortable, very very well presented and in the ideal location in Beadnell for the pub and restaurants; plus a picturesque walk across the field to the beach.

I love Beadnell having spent many childhood holidays in the caravan park but for any visitor the location is ideal to get to anywhere in Northumberland.

The Beach at bamburgh has the best views across to Dunstanburgh castle. It's aldo amazing for rock-pooling and little boys exploring!

The house itself was beautiful, one of 3 set well back from the road. The owners left a chocolate fondue which we thoroughly enjoyed.
