Good sized enclosed garden with patio area, perfect for barbecues, as well as decked area overlooking the Nanny burn. Parking for 3 cars, and bike storage available. Guests have use of membership of local leisure club in Seahouses with indoor pool and gym

Situated within the Northumbrian AONB, the house is 5 minutes drive from the spectacular coast with golden sands, rock pools, harbours and all its amenities - golf courses, coastal and inland walks, castles, nature reserves and islands including the Farne islands bird sanctuary and Holy Island. It is 8 miles from Alnwick with its famous gardens, castle and quirky second hand book shop, and Alnmouth with its rail link to London.

A wonderful week’s holiday

We had a wonderful week in May. The house is perfectly kitted out for families; the spacious open plan ground floor and top floor playroom were particularly helpful with a houseful of small children! We also enjoyed time on the sunny patio at the back of the house. The house is very conveniently located for trips to the beach and days out in Bamburgh, Alnwick and beyond. Family holiday

This was a perfect house for a family holiday. We were a party of 7 ranging in age from 6 to 73 including 2 teenagers. There was space for all our needs. The teens especially loved the top landing with the TV/Xbox. The bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds & luxurious linen. We really liked the open plan downstairs and found everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen. We visited several different beaches during the week. All quick & easy to get to & ideal for family games, kite flying etc. Altogether a great place to stay.

Spacious, well equipped house

We enjoyed a short break in this area of Northumberland, the house is in the countryside but well placed for visiting attractions. The house is spacious and nicely decorated, well equipped and lots of bathrooms/toilets.
