Roundtree Cottage is located in the upper part of Boscastle in the old High Street. This cosy C17th cottage has many original features, combining a character feel with modern amenities. The cottage has the benefit of fantastic views, and a large garden that is on two levels. We have a patio close to the house for BBQs and a new decking area for evening drinks in the upper garden. The cottage also comes with it's own private parking for one car.
It is a short drive to some of the best known surfing/family beaches of the North Cornish coast. Widemouth Bay is about 15 minutes drive away with extensive parking and a vast surf beach with RNLI lifeguards throughout the year. The nearest beach is Trebarwith Strand just 12 mins drive. Other places of interest are Tintagel - 4 miles, Port Isaac - 10 miles Padstow 15 Miles and the Eden Project which is approx 50 mins drive.
There are several pubs in the village ('The Napoleon' being about 30 yards away) which offer evening meals with the live music every week.
Boscastle is one of the most beautiful and original harbour villages in Cornwall, with stunning walks accessible directly from the cottage.

Lovely cottage in Boscastle, great location for cliff path walks and the dogs loved it. A very cosy cottage for the two of us who just fancied a week away. The farm shop just outside the village is brilliant for sunday lunch (& other times too!) and the Paupers Supper at the Mill House Inn, Trebarwith is certainly worth a visit and the 15 mins drive to get there.
