A nicely furnished semi-detached 16th century character farmhouse with beamed ceilings. A really beautiful setting in a rural location on a cattle & sheep farm in North Tamerton on the Cornwall/Devon border. Woods, fields and other areas for walks and for children to explore. It has it's own driveway so is set away from road traffic. The trout stream is a short stroll away - fishing is inclusive. By the old bridge there are lovely river walks, and an ideal area for picnics. It has its own large enclosed front lawn with seating and bbq.

Ground Floor
Lounge with beamed ceiling and electric woodburner effect fire or open fire (logs available locally), large flatscreen digital TV and DVD player. Three piece suite (reclining armchairs), double bed-settee. Spacious kitchen/diner (seating 10) with electric cooker (double oven), fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Bedroom 4 has a single bed and bunk beds (there is low ceiling height when sleeping in the top bunk in the downstairs bedroom). Ensuite with small bath and shower attachment, wash basin and washing machine. Separate toilet.

First Floor
Bedroom 1 has a single bed. Bedroom 2 has a king size bed and tv. Bedroom 3 has a double bed. There are also two cots, two highchairs and two stairgates available upon request. Bathroom with basin, w.c., shower cubicle with electric shower, double ended bath with waterfall taps and shower attachment, heated towel rail.

Facilities and Services
Linen, towels, bath mat, tea towels, dish cloths and hairdryer are provided. Free wifi. Two cots are available. Selection of books and games. Wall mounted electric convector heaters in all rooms. Electricity included. Garden furniture and BBQ. Exclusive use of lawned front garden. Shared use of children's play area. Pets by arrangement. Short breaks available. Off road parking for 3 cars. Arrival and departure for weekly bookings is Saturday. Indoor games room, table football, books, games, toys and tourist information. Children's playarea, pet pigs and chickens on site. River fishing.

Clare and her family were all lovely, helpful hosts. Our kids were made to feel especially welcome too and loved helping to feed the pigs and the chickens. The house was spacious, clean, well equipped and in a quiet, rural location. We would highly recommend Well Farm Cottages to anyone.

Wonderful clean and cosy property in a quiet location. Everything you could need for a short stay or a longer holiday. We stayed in the farmhouse which was traditional and welcoming. Comfortable beds and spotlessly clean bathrooms. A very spacious family kitchen and dining area and cosy lounge. Good parking facilities and WiFi. I would definitely stay again.

The farmhouse and farm are great! Lovely hosts, clean and spacious accommodation, safe area for kids to play and the pigs provide a great attraction.

Lovely peaceful location. Friendly hosts. Everything was spotlessly clean. We used this as a base to travel out and about and it was ideal for that. In the heat we have been having recently the 4 or 5 foot thick walls meant that the building stayed lovely and cool, just what you need after a day on the beach. We would happily return.
