The Mistal is a spacious yet cosy 2-bedroomed holiday cottage in Burythorpe, North Yorkshire. It has a large lawned garden to the rear, a south-facing conservatory, and shared use of the grassed tennis court (May-September). It enjoys beautiful rural views across the fields to the wooded Yorkshire Wolds. The Mistal is ideal both for couples and for families, offering tranquility and comfort in a quite magnificent location in North Yorkshire.

The Living Area
From the parking area, you enter through the porch, where there are coat hooks and room for boots, into the hall, which leads to the dining kitchen with its table for 4 guests and views across the garden to the woods on Langhill. It has a well-equipped kitchen which features a single oven including grill, extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and all necessary utensils. The small utility room has a washing machine and laundry equipment.

7 night minimum stay Easter to end of October.

The good-sized living room has a wood burning stove, with plenty of logs included, seating for 4 guests, a flat screen smart TV, dvd player, board games and a selection of books. There are windows to the west and east.

The conservatory provides a relaxing sitting area to soak up the sun, and from here you can go out to the garden and patio.

The Bedrooms and bathroom
The spacious main bedroom has plenty of room for a cot if required, with a 5 foot double bed, dressing table with mirror, bedside tables and large fitted wardrobes. The west-facing window gives views across the garden to the hills. The second bedroom is a twin with a tall set of draws and a fitted wardrobe.

The good-sized bathroom has a shower over the bath and all bath and hand towels are included.

The Gardens and Car Parking
The garden is wonderful. You have your own extensive area of lawn, with sun all day long, and views over the fields to the woods of Langhill. Near the conservatory is the stone-flagged patio area, which is both sheltered and a sun-trap – a wonderful spot for outdoor dining, or just relaxing and reading a book. Please note that the garden, though private, is not enclosed.

Ample car parking is available for all our guests.

All bed linen, bath and hand towels, hair dryer, extra blankets, 4 toilet rolls, hand soap, kitchen roll, dish cloth, tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets are included. We have a travel cot, booster seat, and booster step available on request. Bedding for the travel cot is NOT provided.

A beautiful location and excellent property. Ideal spot in quiet location great for exploring East Yorkshire and the coast.
