Sea Spray has been furnished and equipped to the highest standards and the impressive sea view from the open plan living space through the eight feet patio doors is simply mesmerising. The patio doors open onto a private seating area which leads onto well maintained communal gardens. Equipped with a table and four chairs the lovely sea view makes it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a morning cuppa and is a great place to sit and watch the sun go down with a chilled glass of wine.

The contemporary living space is home to a large corner sofa, carefully positioned to make the most of the sea view, an Italian Calligaris media unit housing a 55" Panasonic 4K Smart TV (with Netflix subscription) and Blu-ray DVD player and the dining area has a Calligaris table with four chairs and a matching Calligaris sideboard topped with a PURE stereo system. There's remote controlled mood lighting and underfloor heating making Sea Spray is an ideal place for a romantic weekend getaway all year round.

A real 'home from home' - the dining area leads into the well stocked fully fitted designer kitchen, with all of the appliances you'll need including a NEFF oven and five ring hob, NEFF dishwasher, NEFF fridge/freezer, a washer/dryer and a microwave and the cupboards are full of all the essentials you'll need to prepare a family meal or to entertain your friends, including Denby crockery, cutlery and utensils, Dartington crystal glasses, as well as the very best saucepans from John Lewis. The spectacular sea views from the kitchen area ensures cooking for your loved ones is a real delight.

Quality beds and flexible sleeping - the master bedroom boasts a king size Ercol bedstead topped with a luxury Hypnos pocket sprung mattress and light oak bedside furniture. As well as overhead reading lights, there is a flat screen TV, Pure DAB/Blu-tooth radio, hairdryer and plenty of soft white towels for everyone. The spacious second bedroom has been tastefully decorated and the blue and white decor is suitable for children, teenagers or adults, home to luxury Hypnos pocket sprung zip and link beds that can be made up as either two (longer length 6'6) singles or one super king bed, there are light oak bedside units and a large wardrobe, as well as a TV, PURE radio, hairdryer and plenty of towels for all guests. The flexible sleeping arrangements makes Sea Spray the ideal place for either couples or families to holiday and with Sea Shells right next door it's the perfect location for two families or a group of friends that want to holiday together.

Sumptuous bathrooms - leading off of the master bedroom is a superb contemporary style en-suite shower room whcih is fully tiled and boasts a fabulous drench shower, with smart sleek Italian sanitaryware, including a WC, bath and basin plus a heated chrome towel rail and mirrored bathroom cabinet.

Externally - in addition to the sea facing patio, Sea Spray also benefits from sunny rear terrace which is a real sun trap and is the perfect place for relaxing whilst on holiday with a good book. There is one allocated parking space through secure gated access.

Located at the prestigious Sands Apartments and just a short stroll from the fabulous Blue Flag Carbis Bay beach and the stunning South West coastal path, Sea Spray is the ideal place to escape to if you want a relaxing break away from the crowds. For a more buzzy atmosphere, Carbis Bay station is just a short walk away and the very scenic three minute train ride will take you into the centre of St Ives where there is an abundance of restaurants, art galleries, and a good choice of golden sandy beaches, alterantively you can walk into St Ives along the coastal path.

Warmed by the Gulf Stream this part of West Cornwall enjoys its own micro climate and has a real Mediterranean feel about it. Only a mile and a half from the picturesque fishing village of St Ives, arguably the most famous seaside town in Cornwall, which is easily accessed by the magnificent South West coastal path or the St Ives Bay branch line, Carbis Bay is the perfect location for a great holiday and an ideal base for exploring the many attractions that West Cornwall has to offer.

Enjoy the tranquil setting of Carbis Bay and its beautiful beach, stroll along the magnificent South West coastal path, taking in the dramatic views of St Ives Bay, and be in St Ives in around 20 minutes or so, or hop on the St Ives Bay branch line (almost certainly the most scenic railway in the UK) and be in St Ives in just three minutes (of course you can take your car, but St Ives is almost impossible to drive through and park in the summer!).

Carbis Bay Station is just a short walk from Sea Spray and the regular three minute train journey into St Ives is a delight (adult fare is just £1). The advantage of staying in Carbis Bay is that you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of St Ives, without the hassle of traffic and parking (many of the properties in St Ives do not have parking facilities and public spaces are limited), and during peak season driving through the centre of St Ives can be quite a challenge.

St Ives has an abundance of art galleries, fine restaurants and a choice of golden sandy beaches, sparkling azure seas and its charming working harbour so it’s no wonder it is one of the UK’s favourite holiday destinations. Its unique quality of light provides inspiration to artists, poets and writers all year round. Visitors will be captivated by the light, and mesmerised by the beauty of the award winning beaches, the maze of cobbled streets and quaint fisherman’s cottages, and will be charmed with the blend of designer shops and quaint traditional tea rooms which all seem to sit together in perfect harmony.

Carbis Bay itself has a fabulous blue flag beach, a good safe family holiday beach with lifeguard cover usually available between May and September, there’s a beach cafe / restaurant & takeaway as well as a local shop, fish & chip shop, pubs, restaurants, etc. There are also a choice of spa facilities and golf within a two mile radius (including West Cornwall golf Club, probably one of the finest links courses in Cornwall). Water sports, including kayaking and stand up paddle boards, are available at Carbis Bay beach, with surfing lessons available in St Ives or at nearby Gwithian. Carbis Bay, just a mile and a half away from the bustling centre of St Ives, is the perfect base for a memorable holiday.

Beautiful property

Beautiful property, we stayed next door (at Sea Shells) 6 years ago and can''t believe it''s taken so long to return. Very comfortable, great location and so clean. We enjoyed it so much we''ve booked again for Sept, probably wouldn''t stay anywhere else now in Carbis Bay. Fay and family are so helpful.

Top notch, spacious, beautifully appointed modern apartment

op notch, spacious, beautifully appointed modern apartment in a fabulous location. We are very fussy about where stay, but when we walked in our reaction was - wow. Spotlessly clean, a great welcome pack (including a bottle of champers that went down brilliantly with the fish & chips we had during the week), very comfortable good quality furnishings and beds, plenty of towels, very well equipped kitchen, very thorough and thoughtful information pack plus great instruction pack on how things work, with fantastic view across to St Ives. All in all, a 5 star rating fully deserved, without question. We made a lot of use of the rail line into St Ives, with the station only 5 mins walk away - a fantastic bonus to have this so close. Try and do the coast walk to St Ives at least once. It’s a bit steep in places to start (inc bridge to cross the railway line), but generally an easy stroll and well worth the effort. An important point to note though - if you want to eat out in St Ives at peak times then heed the warnings to book early. All the top places were booked out and we struggled some nights to find somewhere nice - and not even high season! Strong recommendations - La Casita, By The Sea Seafood & Grill, Talay Thai and Caffé Pasta & Pizzeria. Fay and family have done a great job in offering a place of such high standard. As someone else said, a home from home, but with a much better view.
