The newly renovated kitchen is equipped with everything needed to self-cater including a fridge (with freezer box), cooker (electric), microwave and kettle. Adjacent is the dining area with table and chairs and a living area with armchair and sofa for 2 facing the excellent wood-burner (wood supplied free from the Estate woodlands).
A king-size bedroom sits behind the original partitioning wall of what was once the stables, separating it from the living area.
A large en-suite shower room with loo, hand basin.
Guests have a sunny garden area for relaxing with garden furniture (barbecue available upon request), plus off-road parking.

Superbly located on the South coast between the historic fishing villages of Fowey and Charlestown, and 35 minutes by car to the North Coast, Tregrehan is a fabulous all season destination. The property is surrounded by fields and ancient parkland, yet urban amenities are nearby (a mile west and east). Entry to Tregrehan Garden is free to guests during opening hours. All season tennis court. Nearby Fowey, historic fishing village and dining mecca. The popular film venue of historic Charlestown with its' tall ships & good restaurants lies to the west. Endless coastal walks. 15 minutes walk to the Eden Project. Pets are welcome in Coach House and Gamekeeper's cottages. Arrive to a warm house with lit fires, made beds and milk in the fridge.

Other detail - quality linen & duvets. Digital TV and DVD, fridge, microwave, wood burner, smart night store heater and Rointe electric heaters. Garden furniture. Barbecue. Recycling. Parking. Communal washing machine (£2/wash). Asphalt tennis court for use.

...a very charming property

By N man on 02-Jun-2022

The Mews, 2 June 2022 N Man We stayed for a week at the Mews, its a very charming property – the lay out is close to perfection! I particularly love the high ceiling, well equipped small kitchen and the spacious bathroom. The private back garden is south facing, we”d stay there in the morning before heading out, then enjoyed the indoor wood fire when we got back. Its was wonderful! Jo and her staff was always helpful, we got everything we needed. The freshly cut garden flowers in the vase and herbs in the garden exceeded our expectations. We had a very relaxing holiday, thank you Tregrehan Garden Cottages. We highly recommend it to everyone.

....a fantastic stay at the Mews

By George on 04-Jul-2022

We had a fantastic stay at The Mews, a homely and unique accommodation located in the beautiful Tregrehan garden estate which is super convenient for accessing lots of local attractions, even though we were entirely on foot. Jo was a great host who had loads of suggestions for us and provided everything needed for our stay and more… highly recommended!

.. a fabulous week in The Mews

By Peter on 12-May-2022

Spent a fabulous week in The Mews. The location is great for cycling and walking with safe bike storage provided. Not to mention the surrounding parkland and adjacent gardens. The accommodation itself is full of character – very comfortable and perfectly suited to a relaxing break. The S/W Coastal Path and historic Charlestown are within a 30min walk. One week was not long enough to explore the vicinity so we hope to return.
