Facing the pool and 900 year old olive trees, the garden level apartments sleeping 10 of Villa Les Cyprès are a unique opportunity to stay in completely self-contained accommodation within walking distance to beach, supermarket, shops and boutiques, night-life and the lively centre of the town without the necessity of hiring a car, unless you wish to!
The garden apartment ( Ref P172348 )has three bedrooms (that can either be twin or double on request) and a large living area that combines the open plan kitchen with central cooking island and the sitting/lounging area. The adjacent Cottage (Ref 172349) sleeps 4 with two bedrooms ( one double and one small with bunks) plus further kitchen and salon area.
The main outside covered terrace overlooks the pool and garden and has gas barbecue and seating for up to 10 around expandable oval table. There is also a breakfast bar in the salon/kitchen area that can seat 4 as necessary. The Cottage also has a terrace with dining for 4 and an internal table if needed. There are two barbecues.
If the Garden Apartment and Cottage are let to one group then guests will have ALMOST exclusive use of all facilities such as the garden, pool, table-tennis, boules court as well as the self-contained gym purpose-built in the chalet in the garden. ( Please be aware the owners live in the upper part of the villa but do not intrude as they work and only take the occasional swim, and maintain the garden and pool !)
The villa is not over-looked and is situated in a quiet residential area yet close to all amenities. Dyson cooling fans are in all bedrooms for guests' comfort and are extremely efficient in maintaining a cool ambience even in the height of summer. Parking is on the road adjacent with no fee or restriction approximately 50 metres from the villa. The garden is secure but has some areas where small children will need supervision. Because of the access to the villa via 12 steps from the road level, it is not suitable for severely handicapped people. The garden, pool and olive trees are lit up at night.
The owners go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable and have many repeat clients every year. They will advise on the best restaurants locally, markets to visit, public transport available to Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo and even as far as Northern Italy for the huge open-air market each Friday in Ventimiglia of on a Thursday in Bordighera. There are boat trips to the Iles de Lérins and along the coast to St Tropez plus water sports, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing. Boats can be chartered locally and there are many day excursions that can be recommended locally. Juan les Pins is the place renowned by the famous song of Peter Sarstedt and lies between Nice and Cannes on a golden sandy beach with its annual famous Jazz in Juan festival attracting big name stars. The film festival in Cannes is literally a 10 minute bus ride away with glitz and glamour and inland the perched hill-top villages such as St Paul de Vence, Mougins, and Gourdon attract artists as well as providing spectacular views of the panorama of the Côte d'Azur.
