Woodside Cottage is located just a couple of minutes’ walk from the fantastic Cromer award winning Blue Flag beach. Although we are located one street away from the main high street, Corner street is very quiet. All the shops and attractions Cromer has to offer are all within easy reach without using a vehicle.
Cromer is a hidden gem in the Norfolk Coast, many people have never heard of Cromer or never been but once you have you will go back again and again and see something different each time. Cromer beach located just a few minutes’ walk at the end of the road is very clean and has received the blue flag award. Cromer is also famous for its crabs and lobsters and has events in May and August dedicated to this where Cromer really comes alive. There are also many other events during the year in Cromer so it’s well worth checking the visit Norfolk website to see what’s going on. It’s a perfect location for all ages, It has romantic coastal walks, good dining from a wide choice of restaurants, interesting buildings, museums, craft activities for everyone, local shops, cinema, night club, lots of good pubs some with live music. You could stay a week and have breakfast and lunch in a different place every day. Cromer also has good transport links along the coast to other seaside towns, we have lots of visitors who comment that they stay and never use the car, exploring out using the coastal hopper bus. Just along the coast is the Sheringham steam railway. Nearby is the mainline railway to explore further afield. A short bus or drive away is North Reaps airfield. If you fancy a flight in an aircraft or just seeing something different then that is worth a visit too. Just a twenty minute walk, ten minute bus ride or five minute drive is Amazonas one of a best kept zoos of its type in the whole of the UK. Norfolk was also the location where Radar was invented and is littered with military museums. You can even visit the radar museum where the cold war was run from. See it just as it was all those years ago. Norfolk is peppered in British History all over the place and Cromer is a perfect central location to explore out from. We are a member of Take One and on site in our hallway is a large collection of leaflets provided by them with discounted entry to many of the Norfolk attractions. These are free for you to take. All our properties are located in Cromer town with the beach just a few minutes’ walk. Shops, restaurants, cafes, speciality dining and other facilities are just all literally just around the corner.
The property its self is split across three levels, with twin single beds on the top floor and an adjacent shower-room. The next floor down is double bedroom with end-suite show room and lovely balcony to sit out on in the evenings with a glass of wine.

Fantastic Relaxing Holiday
By A TripAdvisor Member on 29-Apr-2019
This was the first time we had stayed in a cottage and was so surprised at how spacious it was. The cottage was very clean and everything was there that you would need, even a BBQ! Location was two minutes walk away from the beach and local shops. The owners of Woodside Breaks were extremely friendly and helpful with any enquiries we had.

"Really clean and spacious with everything you'd need to have an enjoyable holiday.
The double bed felt a bit flimsy but was adequate.
The parking was very handy but a little awkward as it is on a steep slope, this wasn't mentioned in the description but be aware if you have a large vehicle it could be tricky to park.
Overall a great place to stay and we would definitely stay there again!!"

Good property in nice location. Owners instructions are very clever. Lovely views from balcony. Shops close by and so is the parking. Even if you dont get in street parking the nearby car parks are cheap.
Best location and fabulous flat!
By Samprice_home on 20-Apr-2019
This flat has to be in one of the best locations in Cromer - literally a stone's throw from the seafront! Access is super-easy, with a keypad on front and back doors. Once inside, although the stairs are quite steep up to the top floor, the flat itself is superb. The living room is spacious, and the kitchen well-equipped, with everything you might need for a home away from home. We stayed as a family of four, with our dog, and it was an absolutely perfect weekend. Highly recommended!

Great accommodation, very clean modern town house, the private patio area downstairs and seated balcony upstairs are a lovely touch. 1 mins walk to town and the sea front, oh and Cromer is a real gem

Booking was easy and staff friendly. Accommodation is close to resort and ideal for people with mobility limitations. The accommodation was well appointed and had all the basic requirements for comfort and catering. Value for money. Would definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family.
Lovely new year stay. Great position and lovely warm accommodation.

"it was a very last minute decision to book a long weekend in Cromer which didnt leave much time for research on the available property, i have to say that i am so glad we took a chance and booked Woodside breaks, the apartment is roomy and well presented and the rooms are well furnished and comfortable, to top it all it is just a few steps away from the seafront and the town."

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was very comfortable , clean and well located , being right in the town and minutes from the sea front. It had a courtyard outside and each bedroom had an en suites which was fantastic.
We stayed in the cottage which had an allocated parking space.I am not sure if the other accommodation includes this, and might have been a problem as we stayed easter weekend which was very busy in Cromer.
Overall though an excellent choice to stay.
Amazing Place and so near everything. Perfect for the children

We've just returned from a weeks holiday in Cromer. We stayed at this loverly little ground floor flat thats really close to the beach. Everything is so close and nearby.
We thought it was a mistake when we found this flat, its SO CHEAP !, its nearly £500 cheaper than anything else we looked at in Cromer.
We did think it would be very basic and missing something becuase it was so cheap, but not having much money we took a punt. How wrong we were !!. Its just perfect. It has everything you would want while you are on holiday. Even the kids were happy that there was wifi included. We've been stung before when you arrive and expect to feed the electricity meter all all but they include the electricity also. They promised everything was included in the one price even though we kept asking them what else they kept saying it was included.
We're so pleased we asked about parking , they even allowed us to park in their private carpark to save us a few more ££. The staff are loverly to deal with, the place it perfect. We just loved it.. Its far too cheap for its central location.
We will definitly be back !!!

Great location. Great value. Made our stay overall fab! Chinese a few doors away meant we grabbed a date night! Agreed with owner we could use parking but two large cars meant it was a bit of challenge due to the steepness of parking bay and tight turning space. But we weren't meant to get parking in the price so bonus!

"Just spent a lovely weekend in apartment 3 lovely and clean well equiped and the owners very attentive to detail. Easy axcess to apartment with code ed door.y noise from the other apartments. A short walk to town and beach although the weather was a bit unsettled did not spoil our stay. We are hoping to book very soon."
By Sarah F on 20-Apr-2019
we stayed in apartment 3 and would definitely recommend it. It was clean, spacious and excellent value for money. The balcony had excellent sea views and it is only two minutes from the beach and shops. We had a great view of the carnival parade from the apartment too. The owners were really friendly and helpful too, we would stay here again!
great acommodation at a great price!

We (a family of 4 - 2 daughters age 12 and 14) have just stayed in apartment 2 and would recommend this accommodation to others, too. The apartment was clean, well equipped and spacious. We thought it was great value for money and provided a convenient and comfortable base. We had no need to use the car as we chose to spend the whole time in Cromer - it was great to be able to walk out the door and within less than a minute be at the shops and beach.
fantastic cottage great town
By Lulucromer on 20-Apr-2019
One of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. It was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Well equipped with everything we needed. Great location for shops and the beach but in a quiet street. Own parking an advantage. Outside space a bonus. Will definately visit Cromer again and would book the same cottage. Staff at the booking agent very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic little hideaway
By Clare D on 20-Apr-2019
Stayed for the weekend with husband, two teenagers and two dogs. What a great location, and cleverly designed property to provide everything you need in the heart of Cromer. Above and beyond our expectations, can't wait to come back.
Woodside Cottage Nice place Super Location
By Katys710 on 12-Apr-2019
Woodside Cottage was easy to find in a great Location. My family stayed here for a weekend and had a great time. Kitchen was well fitted but kettle didn't work and toaster was on its way out. The accommodation was split over 3 levels with mod cons and the owners were more than helpful and obliging. Loved the entry system and the digital parking and the decked garden. I think the only thing letting it down was the uncomfortable beds all of them and I would stain the decking and fencing and the fact the accomodation doesn't have a bath.
Great price & wonderful location
By Fl0wer6 on 01-Sep-2018
Myself and my boyfriend stayed in apartment 1 for 2 nights and it was lovely. Perfect size for 2 people and there is a sofa bed and plenty of room for an extra 2 people. Everything you need, clean and tidy and smack bang in the middle of Cromer - all for a great price!!! Thank you so much - we will definitely be coming back!
Nice conveniently located accommodation
By Frizman2012 on 01-Jul-2018
This was a real last minute decision, brought Thursday night and went on the Friday. Accommodation is a 2 bed flat just a stone's throw away from the pier Cromer town centre. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Only criticisms are the shower cubicle is very small compared to the size of the bathroom, parking can be a bit of a challenge if you want to park directly outside the property and this isn't the owners fault as they supply good washing up facilities and a dishwasher but previous occupiers don't seem to have washed up very well and all cutlery and crockery were very dirty. But over all very happy and will be back one day
Nice place. Great location
By Paul O on 01-Apr-2018
My wife and I stayed here for a weekend. Place was clean and tidy, hot shower and all the amenities you'd expect. Free off street parking at the rear although a bit steep our medium sized car was fine. Has coded entry so you don't have to worry about keys. Great location close to beach, pier and shops.
Amazing and unexpected surprise
By Diane F on 01-Mar-2018
Friends of ours booked a place in Sheringham and we booked the same place for a few weeks later. When they came back they had an awful time with the property and the owner and it put us off so we cancelled.
Boy are we glad we did, we found this place in Cromer which was a thousand times better, amazingly clean and tidy and close to everything. Our friends when they saw our pictures were so jealous that they’d stayed nearby, paid more and got a lot less for their money.
Just to be clear this place and the Sheringham place are entirely different company. The cottage , well really it’s a house is so comfortable and clean it looks new. It was handy for the shops and pubs. One of the days we didn’t even use the car and found loads to do in town walking round the nick knack shops. We found a craft café up the high street and spent quite a lot of time in there painting. Our eldest daughter was kept quiet by the wifi. The main surprise though was the lack of meters, it sounds strange but every time we’ve been in a place like this in the last few years all we’ve done all week is poor pound coins into meters to use the electricity and paid for wifi etc. it makes for an expensive holiday. How are these people doing it chucking in so much for nothing. We’ve only been back a week and the youngest daughter wants to go back. The cottage backs onto flats run by the same company so we’re planning going back with our friends and staying all in the same place.
