This is a lovely unique cottage for two people in rural surroundings but close to amenities and good road links to explore the Lakes, Furness Peninsula, Lancashire Coast and the Yorkshire Dales.
The property is set back from the road and from a slightly elevated position enjoys wonderful views to the Kent estuary on Morecambe Bay and to the fells.
The grounds to the front of the cottage extend to around two acres including lawns, mature trees and shrubs which are a haven for a variety of flora and fauna. At the start of the year there are drifts of snowdrops followed by naturalised daffodils, primroses, blue bells and wild garlic.
The cottage is personally managed by the owner. There is private off road parking and the rear courtyard garden is private and fully enclosed.
Short breaks are available all year with a flexible start day, at the owner's discretion, for a minimum of 3 nights ( 4 nights over Xmas ) .Prices for 2023 are £85 - £90 per night., with additional nights at £65 - £70 per night..
Bank Holidays are £90 per night., with additional nights at £70 per night.
A 30% deposit is required on booking with the balance due 6 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. For bookings made within the 6 weeks full payment is required on booking. Payment is by Bank Transfer only.
A maximum of 2 dogs are permitted by prior arrangement subject to Terms and Conditions. There is a small additional charge of £3 per night or £15 for a week.
A second dog is at a reduced rate.
