The Butlers Pantry is the perfect home for those of you wanting to be close to Dorchester town centre but is also within a 15-minute drive of the nearest beach. Ideal for families or friends, the property offers spacious and well-furnished rooms throughout and are available. The apartment is all on the ground floor level giving you easy access to the kitchen, living room, bedrooms and bathroom. Ideal for a family of four, you have the choice of either a double or a twin bedroom. The living room overlooks the shared garden and you can also sit back and relax in your private walled patio area with a table and chairs. Don’t worry about the car as the apartment has free off street parking for two cars. Being a pet friendly property, you can even bring your dog along for the holiday!. We accept pets but it's one small dog only. The apartment has a Blue Chip Holidays 4 star rating and is available for a minimum of 3 night stays. Unfortunately, we do not accept builders or ground workers or trade vehicles. We have free wifi for your use

We look forward to welcoming you to The Butlers Pantry. The house was built in 1898 as a second home for the net making family of Gundry who were net makers in Bridport.

The nearest attraction to here (5 minutes walk ) is Brewery Square with restaurants and coffee shops including Costa Coffee, Cafe Rouge, Cote Brasserie, Wagamama, Zizzy and Odeon Cinema. Slightly out of the town is Prince Charles development of Poundbury which is a new town with clusters of shops and eateries, there is also a butcher and Waitrose in Queen Mother Square along with a Hotel /Pub called the Duchess of Cornwall, Dorchester South and Dorchester West stations are 5 minutes away with frequent service to Weymouth (advisable in the Summer ) and a bus stop on the main road at the end of Queens Avenue.

Regarding collecting the keys, usually an email is sent via Booking.com with the key box combination - this didn't arrive but the owner was on hand; very friendly and helpful. Spacious apartment very well presented and with plenty of kitchen equipment for stay-at-home meals. Very clean and looked newly decorated. 10 minute walk into town where there's plenty of eateries. Having a car is necessary to see the sights - Hardy's house, Maiden Castle and, a bit further away, the Jurassic Coast, Chesil Beach and Portland Bill. Highly recommended.
