We thoroughly enjoyed our nine night stay in this lovely bungalow. It is bright, modern and clean with three bathrooms so perfect for families. We stayed there so that we could attend our daughters wedding close by and made very happy memories there. Highly recommended without reservation.

It's just as the picture shows.

A very nice, modern and clean cosy house. Would recommend this to those who are wanting to explore outside of London especially the southern side of UK. A home away from home. Tq Martin!

A gem of a find

By Craig on 01-Nov-2016

Lovely decoration and spacious. Clean and most importantly great service. Not simply cleaned for arrival and upon exit but a weekly clean, towels and linen change. Hotel servicing at an absolute bargain rate. Better than being at home!

Half term break in London

By John on 30-Oct-2016

The quality of the house was excellent, highly recommended everything you needed including comfy beds! Location great for getting around by car and the local train station had parking for east access into central London.

We had a wonderful time. The property is very well cared for and we had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. A car is recommended as although there are some shops within walking distance, to get to the train station or larger shopping areas, you really need to drive/take a bus. The owners left a lovely welcome pack of essentials and there was loo roll, washing/cleaning equipment and soap etc. left for us to use which we appreciated. We would definitely come back here and/or recommend it to others.

Perfect Location for family wedding in Nonsuch park

By Cem, Bury St. Edmunds on 22-Jun-2016

We stayed here to attend a wedding over a weekend as a family of 7, including a 4 month old baby and a toddler. The bungalow had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. We had a great stay. The welcome pack was really appreciated after a Friday pm trip around the M25. Our deposit was returned to us very quickly thank you.

We were two families staying for 5 nights. It's the perfect location for Chessington World of Adventure, Thorpe Park, LEGOLAND and London. The train station is not far, there's parking at the station or you can take a local taxi at a cost of £5. The bungalow was spotless, couldn't fault a thing! Plenty of cutlery/plates and kitchen accessories (there was a lack of champagne glasses though!) Plenty of hot water. 1 bathroom, 1 shower room/toilet and 1 en-suite, perfect for two families. The Bedrooms were a good size, lots of storage, the beds were comfy (could of done being a little bigger for the taller person, but no complaints). The little garden was just right and a perfect sun trap. The welcome pack went down a treat, especially the bottle of wine!. There's plenty of take-away restaurants and grocery shops within a few minutes walk. Ten minutes walking and there's a nice pub/restaurant. All-in-all we had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend.

Extremely pleasant stay

By Win on 01-Apr-2016

It was a extremely pleasant stay for our 6-day break in London and we loved the bungalow every bits. The 4-bedroom sized detached has a cozy feel that really suits a family with kids like ours. Our boys git to choose their preferred rooms without a fight for once. We were looking for a quiet break out of the buzzing city centre but still within convenient reach. This house just ticked all our criteria. The kitchen is beautiful and large with almost everything you expect from a fully equipped kitchen. We ended up cooking most of our dinners instead of forced to eat out if we were staying at a hotel. The property is like brand new and we were a bit scared to ruin it. The garden at the back allows plenty of natural light going into the house and it warms the rooms even in chilly mornings. We drove a lot of miles visiting relatives in Oxford, so the driveway and the parking is a much needed feature. We can definitely feel the effort and heart that the host has put into the home and we thank Martin by offering us to share this home feeling with us, even we were 6000 miles away from our actual home. I would recommend this home to anyone who would drop by London and would like to experience a bit of the fantastic Epsom.

The Dapples was beyond our expectations

By Greta, New York City on 07-Mar-2016

We arrived in the afternoon hours and was severely jet-lagged, so it was a pleasant surprise to have a place to just rest and recoup. with no worries. The house is spacious, clean, with all the modern amenities. There was a welcome package awaiting us so there was no need to go the supermarket just yet, but when we did, it was just a short walk away. When we went sight-seeing in London, we took the Tolworth train and bought day passes so we could make as many stops as we wished. I'm not planning another holiday in England any time soon, but if I were, we would definitely stay at the Dapples again.

Lovely holiday bungalow

By Cheshire on 07-Jan-2016

Stayed at the Dapples with family of three generations, including a toddler, over Christmas period. The house is comfortable, clean and well equipped. I had excellent communication with Martin the owner and he even arranged for some Christmas decorations. The house is easy to find and close to lots of amenities and holiday destinations. We will certainly try to stay here again the next time we want to visit family in London.

Great !

By CJC, Surbiton on 06-Jan-2016

Although our 7-week stay at The Dapples was not a holiday (it was due to needing to vacate our house for renovations) we found it to be a lovely house and had a very comfortable stay. It was nicely decorated, homely and equipped with everything we needed for a stress-free stay. Location is good for amenities and transport (as long as you don't travel during rush hour!) and being a bungalow, it is also good for those with limited mobility, though there is a small step at the front. Martin was a very helpful host and always easily contactable. Highly recommended!

A fantastic property, we'll stay here again!

By Tori A. on 31-Dec-2015

The Dapples is extremely spacious with a beautiful modern interior and excellent parking - a real gem of a property. We stayed here with our baby and toddler while visiting family in the local area, but the huge rooms and amazing garden would easily accommodate a group of adults. The owners are a pleasure to deal with - there was a card and welcome basket waiting for us which was a lovely surprise, and our deposit was returned extremely quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone visiting the area, we will certainly be staying here again.

We stayed at the Dapples cottage for 3 months when we relocated back to the UK. Lovely, clean, neat home with loads of space. Martin was very kind and welcoming and catered to our every need. The house was cleaned weekly and bedding changed too. This house is fully loaded with all amenities you could need. Great little garden for soaking up the summer rays. There is no train station nearby, but there are buses going into Kingston and Epsom. The house is close to a brand new Aldi, Tesco Direct and a spa. The best part of the location is the proximity to the Hogsmill. We spent many afternoons walking song the river. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone.
