Llanfor lacks for nothing where equipment is concerned. It has three large ensuite double bedrooms, two on the ground floor and one on the third floor and on the middle floor is a large open plan kitchen, diner and family siting room with comfy sofas, arm chairs and occasional tables. There is an appropriate size TV, DVD player and well stocked book shelves. The icing on the cake is a large veranda with out door table and chairs where you can eat outside and you have wonderful views of the pretty little harbour dotted with boats and you can watch the world go by in the car park below with an ice cream van and a kayak schooling van teaching kayaking in the harbour.. Our family had a wonderful week's holiday and hope to return. If we could make a suggestion to improve the faccilities even further it would be to have a shower over the bath in two of the ensuites which only have baths.
Wonderful location, I could sit on the balcony all day. Very well equipped kitchen (although we never got round to using those lobster crackers, but we did use the food processor). Only one of the bathrooms has a shower, but that bathroom is accessible to all because it has two doors. A lovely week.
We had a lovely week at Llanfor, amazing coastal walks, we also spent happy days on the local coves and beaches. We saw seals around the paths of Strumble Head and Parthgain, were we had great meals at the Sloop. The Chapel is very well equipped for home cooking, but there is also takeaways in Fishguard and for an evening try the Bakehouse, its very good and well priced.
