As you would guess from its name, Long House is longer in appearance than most cottages and has been renovated to a very high standard combining modern with tradition.
The long open plan living space with high beamed ceilings, wooden floors and under floor heating, offers all the comfort you need for a relaxing holiday. The well equipped kitchen/dining area with oval table leads on to the sitting room with its log burning stove and large glass doors opening onto a patio area, garden and the countryside beyond. The ground floor also offers a twin bedroom, a single bedroom and a family bathroom.
Upstairs, the double master bedroom, with en-suite shower room, has a high-beamed ceiling and French doors leading to a lovely private upper garden. It is not unusual to see wild deer and rabbits when you open the curtains in the morning.
In front of the house, you will find ample parking space for three cars.
Once part of a 13th century hamlet called Little Pinnock, Long House sits in it’s own private gardens with a further 12 acres of grounds to enjoy.
Children love the fields woods orchard and a small stream. They build dens, play hide and seek in the woods and come home with rosy cheeks and hearty appetites.
Surrounded by fields full of lambs, woods filled with bluebells where you can take a picnic and sit under the tress listening to bird and the wind sing their songs. In summer the fields are full of hay bales and the hedgerows full of blackberries. In Autumn watch the leaves turn golden, brown and red with berries that you can lay your Halloween Pumpkin on. After a brazing winter walk on the cliffs come back to a log fire and all the home comforts. Enjoy the natural beauty of Cornwall with all the luxury.

Beautiful country house in a beautiful town
By Charlotte B on 28-Nov-2017
We recently visited Long House with a group of friends and family and what a wonderful stay we had. The house itself is beautiful, homey and a perfect escape for some rest and relaxation. The surrounding grounds were gorgeous and great for an early morning stroll. Not far from the (very pet friendly) little town of Fowey, which has plenty to do, including long walks as well as a selection of lovely little pubs and restaurants. I already can't wait to return!
Gorgeous cottage in beautiful Fowey
By LJones88 on 27-Nov-2017
We have just returned from a long weekend in Fowey, and couldn’t have asked for better accommodation. Located just a short distance from the main town of Fowey, this easily accessible cottage is the perfect haven after a day enjoying the stunning views that Fowey has to offer. It’s vast grounds, are great for any visiting children to play in and explore, and also provides its own beautiful views to enjoy. The log fire is a lovely feature, not to mention the cottage’s extremely welcoming owners! We would love to return one day!

We had a wonderful stay at the house with a group of friends and family and would highly recommend. The location just outside the busy little town of Fowey was a perfect haven for some rest and relaxation. The cottage is situated in beautiful grounds and we loved waking up each morning to a view across the countryside. The log fire was a perfect, cosy addition to our winter break. We will definitely be returning!

The location of Long House is great... removed from the hustle and bustle of Fowey, yet still easily accessible. The house would particularly suit families, with plenty of room inside and a lovely garden too. The adjacent meadow and woods, all part of the grounds, is a good playground for children, as well as being an excellent place to walk dogs. We'll certainly visit again!
