Cottage was excellent for our week visiting this part of the country Well equiped and homely the moment you walked though the front door The slightly strange layout took some time to adjust to. The owners have thought of everything you need. We enjoyed visiting Sandringham,Cromer,Sheringham and Wroxham Was a bit dissapointed at the price of the steam train from Sheringham to Holt and then finding out that Holt station is not near the town and further transport is required to reach the town. The closest beach to the cottage is in Mundersley about 1.5 miles away with plenty of space on the beautiful beach. For dining out try the Sunset grill in North Walshham but this is only open Thursday,Friday and Saturday evenings and booking is advised If you happen to get a clear night then you are in for a treat with the night sky my wife and son were out gazing past 2am enjoying the sight. Thank you Pauline and John for the use of your cottage We thoughly enjoyed ourselves Paul and family

Lovely little cottage in a great location for visiting North Norfolk attractions
By Philip A on 20-Jul-2014
Great cottage that is ideally situated for visiting some of North Norfolks beaches and tourist attractions. John was really helpful and after giving us some information regarding the domestics left us to our own devices. Lovely Garden and outdoor seating areas. Would recommend to anyone wishing to explore north norfolk.

Delightful old detached cottage located close to beaches & central to all other attractions . The cottage was so well equipped to cater for all your needs from necessities to & open fire! All made up ready to light too as most thing well thought out by owners who also live next door great to know if anything needed info etc. First real stay in Norfolk & we all loved it great to get away from the hustle & bustle of the fast lane ! But still short distances from all : boating on the broads Tip Horning swan inn superb pub restaurant eat out riverside then jump on paddle steamer right next to it perfect day ! Cromer about 15min drive , Fishing lake 200 yds .Vernon Arms 5 min drive ( pool & darts ) on wet days! Etc etc. A big thanks to owners hopefully come back sometime.
