The property is surrounded by vineyards, within walking distance of the local village, Gensac, with bars, restaurants, and is 25 minutes from the beautiful and historic wine town of Saint-Emilion. Riding, golf, canoeing, fishing, meditation and spa facilities are all nearby. Pets are welcomed with permission. Prices vary per week according to season. The Setting
La Musique is set in three acres and looks out over its private securitised pool, garden, fields and vineyards. The views are over uninterrupted countryside, the location very peaceful. It is two kilometres from the ancient village of Gensac, which has all essential shops and services, and is 15 minutes by car from the larger towns of Sainte-Foy-la-Grande and Castillon-la-Bataille. The famous and glorious wine town of Saint-Emilion is just 25 minutes away. Chateau Vigiers Golf and Spa is 30 minutes away.
Accommodation
La Musique offers a unique Loft space, offering 200 square meters of living space with oak floors and an open stone fireplace reached by a stone staircase from the entrance hall. There are separate areas around the fireplace, a dining area with a specially commissioned oval gate-leg table made of 150 year-old oak that sits up to 16 comfortably. There is a snooker area, a study area and the large screen cinema, which also provides free to air UK television channels. The house has Wifi. Also located on the upper floor is the fully-equipped modern kitchen. A separate WC and a laundry room equipped with washer and dryer are on the ground floor.
Sleeping Accommodation
The ground floor is attractively laid out with eight bedrooms (4 twins, 4 doubles) with a combination of fully equipped modern bath and shower rooms en-suite. All linen and towels are provided. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated with antique and modern furniture. The house is centrally heated; there is an energy charge for heating throughout the year. Housecleaning, linen-change, are available as optional extras at separate cost upon request.
Unquestionably the best holiday villa we have ever stayed in!! The facilities are fantastic with everything clean, neat and tidy. Clear instructions for everything and everything you could need!!!
