Fell View is a lovely cottage, maintained to a high standard and well equipped with everything needed for a short break away. The welcome pack of milk, teabags and biscuits was much appreciated. The cottage is located in a quiet village, a 5 minute walk from a lovely local pub called the Pheasants Inn which is family and dog friendly. There is also a post office / local convenience store just across the road. It is an ideal location for exploring the southern Lake District, with easy access to Grange-Over-Sands, Cartmel and Newby Bridge and there are some lovely walks right on the doorstep

Enjoyed our short stay here and would book again if we came back to the area. It’s a good base for walks around the Cartmel area.

Home from home very clean cottage
Enjoyed our stay. Didn't find evidence of dogs previously staying. Very clean and folders of info/walks very useful. The owners provided plenty of advice/places to visit in an email before our visit. Would stay again

The cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped. During our stay the weather was glorious and we were able to sit out in the private little garden which was pretty and very private. We enjoyed our meals at the Pheasant Inn, just a short walk away and we didn't disgrace ourselves on quiz night either! Cartmel is under 2 miles away and the "Kings Arms" also has super food, the karaoke night on Friday provided a fun end to our holiday.
I would recommend this cottage.
Shirley, Mike and family.

Very clean, cosy and comfortable. Modern decor. Great to have a toy box for our 1 year old as it meant we didn't need to bring many toys with us. Also great to find such a lovely clean house that allowed dogs. Had a really nice, relaxing stay.
lovely cottage, great location. owners have beautifully furnished and put lots of thought and detail into what is required for a comfortable stay, making this a great choice in being a home away from home. easy booking process, lots of communication and details before arrival. spotlessly clean. would recommend and will be back!
Perfect for a family of 4 and the dog. Great location to enjoy the lakes. Comfortable cottage with a cracking and friendly pub on the doorstep. Everything you'd need for a short stay. Will look forward to revisit.
