The accommodation is on the ground floor of the owners town house. The studio is well organised and well equipped and provides an excellent base for watching the 'Wimbledon Tennis Championships',visiting London either as a tourist or on business. There is wifi and off-street parking for guests directly in front of 'The Studio'.

It is an eight minute walk or short bus ride to Wimbledon Station where frequent trains run into the West End,City and South Bank,just 15mins to Waterloo,and 8mins to Clapham Junction with its direct links to Gatwick.

The Studio is close to the Wimbledon Tennis Championships,tourist attractions and night-life of London's West End and City and even closer to the open spaces and historic trees of Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. The excellent pubs and restaurants of Wimbledon Village are right on the doorstep.

Local Attractions: Wimbledon boasts many local attractions including the 'Tennis Championships' and the tennis museum which is open all year. There are four golf clubs and horse riding on the common and it is a good start to many interesting walks.

There is an 18th century stage-coaching pub, The Dog and Fox and The Ivy Restaurant has just recently opened as well as a wonderful delicatessen.If you venture a little further afield there are the delights of Hampton Court Palace, Kew Gardens, Carlyle's House, Ham House and Garden.

Small but perfectly formed!

Great location for the Village and all the lovely eateries - whether it's a cuppa you are looking for or a more substantial meal. Convenient for Tesco Express and the bank. Choice of bus stop depending on where you need to go. 10 minutes walk down the hill; probably 15 minutes up the hill - but we didn't need to venture out in the evening as there was plenty of choice of where to go in the Village. The studio is spotless and parking at the location is a bonus and very much appreciated. The owner was spot-on: always available but never intrusive. Will be back.

Great place to stay for exploring London, small but has everything you need

This compact accommodation has all facilities including dishwasher and washing machine. It's warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean and the owners are very friendly and approachable. The help they gave us with the best ways to go to and from the city, where to eat, where visiting friends could stay, what deals were available for specials on the entry fees to the sights and so on made a real difference to our holiday. It's only a two minute walk to Wimbledon Village where there are lots of restaurants, pubs, shops and a bakery with lovely bread. It's a very friendly village. It's a 5 minute walk down the hill to Wimbledon train station where you can catch either the above ground train (17 minutes to Waterloo) or the tube. However it's a 10 minute walk back up the hill when you come home each day! It's easy to catch the No. 93 or the No. 200 bus up the hill (only 2 stops to the Village), and I'd recommend doing that especially when you first arrive with your suitcases. The only drawbacks are: 1. It's difficult for the person on the left hand side of the bed to get in and out, because the bed (which we found a bit too firm for us) is squeezed into a small alcove 2. The extraction fan in the bathroom comes on automatically with the light (which you have to turn on because there's no window) and it keeps whirring for 10 to 15 minutes after the light has been switched off. Not a real problem but annoying if you need to go in there at night. However these are small issues, and overall I'd heartily recommend staying here.

Excellent location, brilliant for up to 2 persons withself catering option

A small well presented property, extremely welcoming & helpful hosts. Wall mirrors give the illusion of space. Better bedside lighting would be welcome. The electrical appliances - dishwasher, clothers washer/drier a bonus for holiday makers. Minimal cleaning with little clutter.
