Apartment in Port Grimaud, St Tropez Area, Cote D'Azur - Newly renovated, new kitchen and bathroom

One bedroom apartment in Port Grimaud overlooking the beautiful marinas and waterways. Port Grimaud has plenty of shops, restaurants and many bars. It also has its own beaches, free water taxis for guests and it is possible to hire a boat. You can also take a boat trip to St Maxime & St Tropez. There is a large supermarket within walking distance. Attractions in the local area include a family fair ground, crazy golf and several water parks. Picturesque Provencal villages a short drive away including the medieval village of Grimaud with its ruined hilltop castle and narrow streets, Gassin and Ramatuelle with their spectacular views over the Gulf and beyond to the Alps. Historic Marseilles and cosmopolitan Nice are just over an hour away. Cannes, famous for its film festival, is just under an hours drive away along the famous 'Corniche' spectacular coast road. Monaco, Monte Carlo and Italy are also within driving distance.

The beaches are a 5 minute boat ride on the free residents only watertaxi. You can also use this to get to the centre of Port Grimaud, or to a secluded private beach. The watertaxi picks you up just in front of the apartment, and comes half hourly at peak season. You can also walk to either a large public beach or to the private secluded beach. Both are 10/15 minutes walk away.

Ryanair fly to Toulon-Hyeres Airport from Stansted in the peak months. This is the closest airport to Port Grimaud (40mins away). Easyjet fly from numerous UK airports (Bristol, Gatwick) to Nice which is the 2nd closest airport to Port Grimaud (1 hour). Train and bus options are available from both airports. Other options are Motorail for those who wish to take their own car and Eurostar.

Grimaud village is 2 miles. St Tropez 3 miles - 10 minutes away by car
Cogolin 3 miles. Ste Maxime 5.5 miles. Nice, Cannes and Monaco within 1-2 hours drive. Aquapark at St. Maxime. Casino supermarket at St. Maxime.

Shops within the port include a grocer, newsagent, hairdresser, baker, shoe shop, chemist and various clothes shops
The main square hosts a lively market each Thursday & Sunday with a wide selection of fruit and veg, cheeses, cooked meats, clothing and provencal crafts.
There is a cashpoint machine at the entrance to the main car park and also one in the main square opposite the church
There is a large "Casino" supermarket within 15 minutes walk, on the way to St Tropez.

Notes on Accommodation: Please no smoking in the apartment. Sorry no pets. Children friendly (no access to water from the outside terrace). Outside: If you choose to hire a car, there is a secured residents only free parking bay that comes with the apartment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: 2 summer weight duvets and 4 pillows are provided. Please leave the apartment clean and tidy as you found it on departure. Other: Large outdoor terrace space that gets the morning and afternoon sun, giving wonderful waterside views while you enjoy your morning coffee and French baguette & Brie. The balcony area has 2 sun loungers, 4 chairs and 1 circular table.

Booking Notes:
A non returnable deposit of £100 is required when booking. The balance is to be paid 4 weeks prior to the start date of the holiday. If booking within 4 weeks of the holiday start date, full payment is required. A refundable £250 security deposit is also required with the balance payment. Payments can be made by cheque, credit transfer or paypal (a 3.0% surcharge applies for paypal).

Changeover Day:
Saturday. Arrival time after 3pm and departure time by 10am. Flexibility may be available out of high/peak season.


Large Sunny Terrace - Great Location

We love Port Grimaud and this apartment is in a great location to enjoy the marina and its many restaurants. The free residents water taxi stopped near the apartment and is a great way to get around. Louisa gave us clear information about the area. The large sunny terrace was great and we enjoyed the sun for most of the day. We will certainly visit again. Thank you.

Great Holiday

Well situated holiday home - close to everything we needed. Nearby are bakery, restaurants and supermarket. Very sunny stay - 30- 34 degrees all the time. Located very close to the water, parking directly opposite. The free water taxi is a hit. The apartment contains everything you need (do admit that we had not even turned on the television. Recommended for all.

Lovely apartment in a great location

Very well equipped apartment. Definitely glad of the 2 fans and the outside space was lovely. Used the water taxi a few times but not too far to walk to the beach either. Only thing was there was not much clothing storage. Plenty of hanging space but not enough room for 5 peoples folded clothes. Would definitely consider going back again.

Beautiful location and great value

Louisa was incredibly helpful and the apartment is small but well equipped for a holiday. The biggest draw is the wonderful and spacious terrace overlooking the canals of PG, and the weekly rate is extremely good value for what is a very expensive area. The only negative, and its quite a big one, is the traffic noise from the main road behind the apartment. My wife couldn't sleep in the main bedroom at all so we slept on the sofa bed and put the boys in the bedroom

Super Location

Accurate description given, easy to find. Lovely terrace. Good access to beach via free water taxi. The apartment sleeps four but I think this would be only ok if two were children, as in my view the apartment is not big enough to comfortably accommodate four adults for more than a day or two - pull out sofa. Port Grimaud is a very pleasant place and the owners of this apartment clearly care to make sure that all is fine and that customers have a pleasant stay.

An excellent location, wonderful terrace protected from the Mistral Winds which we found to be an unexpected bonus. The apartment was well equipped with all the necessary appliances including maps and local area information. Parking facility all good, and easy walking access to residence beach and local restaurants - Will be visiting again in the future

Lovely week away

The apartment is ideally located with just a 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants and only a short drive away from the supermarket. The apartment itself was adequately stocked with everything that you could need, and it was also really clean. It has a very spacious balcony which is lovely to sit and have lunch on or soak up the sun whilst reading a good book, of which there is a very good selection. I would definitely recommend this apartment and may visit again in the future.

Great apartment in a great location

Our second time in this apartment and we have a fabulous time, the weather was great the sea blue and just warm enough to swim in, neighbours are very nice, it is in tranquil location but very near everything you could need The apartment is ideally situated for a stay in Port Grimaud, 5 minutes’ walk from the main square with its restaurant and convenience store, and plenty of other eating places locally, beach is a short walk away and the car park is opposite the apartment. Large supermarket is only 10 minutes’ drive away as is the medieval town of Grimaud, with St Tropez an easy drive along the coast The apartment itself has all we needed, good shower, large kitchen/sitting area with hob and microwave, TV (English & Foreign language). The balcony is ideal for sitting out and overlooks the harbour and is ideal for sitting reading or just relaxing and watching the boats sail past

A gem of an apartment

We had a wonderful two weeks in this comfortable and well equipped apartment. We had chosen the apartment because of its location and were not disappointed, For anyone visiting Port Grimaud ,whether with your own car or otherwise, it would be hard to think of anywhere better placed. Many apartments have balconies but not all will be of such a generous size as this one offers, or have the sun until about 4pm in the afternoon. The area was very tranquil, certainly at the time of year we visited, and the view from the balcony was superb. The use of the residents' water taxi was a lovely bonus and one which we enjoyed to the full! Booking was straightforward and the owner really helpful. A highly recommended property.

Fantastic terrace in authentic Port Grimaud Sud

We had a great time in the apartment. They're all pretty bijou so it isn't large but we knew it wouldn't be, having stayed in something similar five years ago. The good bits: ***It's got to be the terrace. There is something rather lovely about lying on your sun lounger whilst the upper floors have to make do with just a table and chairs. We also had a table and chairs and it was big enough to seat six! ***Being in Port Grimaud Sud. You are only 10 minutes walk away from Port Grimaud Nord and all the shops and restaurants that come with it - but you are in the more authentic Sud with lots of French. There are some amazing restaurants round the square, a tabac and a gorgeous bakery. Very often the French would be playing boules at well past midnight! ***No-one very walked past our apartment and it was very private. ***Car parking space only just up the road. ***Apartment was well equipped with brollies and even giant inflatables if you had kids. ***Bathroom is like brand new. Why it's not got five stars: The only reason it's not got five stars are for two reasons, neither of which are the owners fault. 1. The road could be noisy at night so we would shut the windows and the shutters (this meant you couldn't hear a thing) but it meant you couldn't have fresh air coming through at night and it got hot. 2. The second is there isn't air conditioning (which isn't unusual in Port Grimaud so don't let it put you off this apartment) but again it could get warm. There is a standing fan. We tend to use these apartments as a base really, to explore the south of France. We thought it was exceptional value - we had seen places in Cornwall which were more expensive! The bed was king size and with such a large terrace I could lie out in a morning and catch the morning sun. We would recommend staying. Louisa was on tap whenever we needed her.

Another fantastic holiday

We stayed in the apartment for the second time, and cannot recommend it enough. It is such good value for money! Free car parking space across the road, 10 minute walk to beach and restaurants/bars, own outside terrace with views of the marina and the yachts. Really well equipped apartment. Hope to return again in the future.

Holiday in Port Grimaud

Apartment 25, Block C112-301, Port Grimaud Sud, is situated in a lovely area of Port Grimaud, great views across the harbour yachts are passing your balcony all day long, the apartment is well appointed, everything you need can be found in a drawer somewhere. There are plenty of restaurants on the site which are reasonably priced, however if you wish to stay in all your cooking utensils are there to use with a supermarket to buy what you want about 1 mile away.

Apartment 25 has it's own car park space across the road in a safe gated area which is a great facility.

If you want a super holiday in Port Grimaud this is the apartment to visit, highly recommended.

Just returned from our 2 week holiday in Port Grimaud. Had the most amazing, brilliant and fab holiday!!!

Apartment was fantastic in a lovely peaceful location, perfect for the water taxi stop just outside. The apartment had everything you needed and more!

Plenty of maps and general info to look through.

Would definitely recommend staying here and hopefully will return next year!

Perfect apartment and base

We had a fantastic time here and were really sad to leave...

It was a great base for our cycling excursions: We went all over the vicinity, up and down some very steep hills! Everywhere was stunningly gorgeous: St-Tropez, Gassin, Grimaud, Cogolin, Ste Maxime, Frejus, St Raphael, Cavalaire, Rayol-Canadel, Bormes & Hyeres.

Luckily, we were blessed by sunny, warm, dry weather throughout (not quite warm enough for the sea!).

The apartment was just perfect for our needs; well-appointed and lacking for nothing. The washing machine was a big bonus. And what a view from the balcony! Too many superlatives...

I'd recommend it all to anyone.
