Great cottage, home from home. Egil & his family are amazing people, cannot do enough for you. The cottage was immaculately clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a week away! Hot tub was a bonus and taking our dogs was great, very safe and secure. Japes had a pamper with Elise and look great afterwards. The area is wonderful for walks and not far from Pateley Bridge, Ripon and the great Yorkshire Dales countryside. Lots of walks around the cottage. Would highly recommend to anyone. See you next year... and thank you for a wonderful stay, Wendy, Chris, Marg, Japes & Jesse. XXX
We stayed at Hookstone House from 7th-11th September. We were met by Egil who gave us a tour of the house . The house was extremely clean ,well furnished and the kitchen was very well equipped with two fridges which we found really beneficial . There was also a lovely welcome pack on our arrival too. Ample off road parking , secluded garden and the hot tub was superb and cleaned daily . Lovely places to visit nearby and we enjoyed a couple of walks from the property also.We could not have asked for a better property for our few days break . Thank you Egil and Samantha
"We stayed at Hookstone House from 21st to 27th August. What can we say, a fabulous place to be! From the moment we arrived to the time we left we all felt like we were home from home, we had all we needed for a great week away. The weather wasn't it's best, but we managed to get out and about the area, which has stunning views. Any issues we did have were sorted immediately, even going up on the roof wasn't too much trouble! Thank you Sam and Egil, hopefully back soon if you will have us!!⁰"

We visited the property between the 7th and 14th August 2020 with ages between 1 and 60 and a party of 7 plus dogs. All I can say is what a fantastic place. The house is lovely and had everything we needed. Plenty of places to escape to read and immaculately clean. Beautiful walks straight out the door and I can recommend the local pub. The owners were brilliant also and gave us all the information we needed. I can not recommend it enough.

We visited Hookstone house on the 16th July, the house was beautiful. The house was very clean and felt very safe. The owners had left cleaning supplies also which was great as saved us shopping for them. The owners greeted us on arrival and made us felt instantly welcomed. Beds all comfy, added bonus of WiFi was welcomed by our 4 children. Hot tub was a lovely size and well maintained by the owners. Couple of teething problems which were sorted out straight away by the owners. Welcome pack was a lovely touch so we could have a drink after travelling. Quiet area. Owners even brought the horses to see the children after finding out my kids loved animals! Garden was lovely too with garden furniture to enjoy outside time. Washing machine and tumble dryer were great as we could pack lighter and wash while there! All in all a fantastic week away, just what was needed after being a keyworker through lockdown!
Thank you so much, we would recommend to everyone and will return again
