The north side of Hunstanton offers a quieter side of life in the town with it’s beautiful cliff top walks to Old Hunstanton past the Lighthouse and down to the soft sandy beach. Bars and restaurants can be found in the town and at Old Hunstanton which has the Lifeboat Station and museum, plus craft/antique centre which are well worth visiting too. If you wish to get to town and leave the car behind, the ‘land train’ travels regularly from a nearby caravan park, right through to the other side of town – perfect to take in the panoramic views of the Wash to the Lincolnshire Wolds, even in inclement weather! The Coast Liner bus stops close by too if you are looking to travel further afield to Sheringham or Cromer. Besides the holiday activities in Hunstanton, there is plenty to see, do and explore in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with bird reserves at Holme and Titchwell, country estates at Holkham and the Royal Sandringham estate with it’s Visitor Centre and Museum; the port of Kings Lynn, the busy village of Burnham Market plus various places of interest in between – all within a thirty minute drive.
