What a wonderful time

We had a wonderful time in the apartment. It was very lovely: clean, cosy, warm - everything we need. The house has a great atmosphere. We felt very well. We love the balcony with the views, especially when the sun goes down. It was a very beautiful holiday.

Fantastic location and lovely apartment, would definitely return

Our family of two adults and two kids stayed here in the Easter holidays. Location of the apartment is perfect, only 5 mins walk to the harbour and the great ice cream shops. Yes there are a lot of stairs and it was tiring taking up all our luggage but after that it wasn’t an issue for us. We could leave our pushchair in the reception room at the bottom which was very useful. The apartment was very clean and had everything you could need for your stay. The balcony was lovely bonus and the view was fantastic. We parked our car in the long stay car park just round the corner, only a two minute walk. Would recommend the Italian restaurant right next door, was fab. Thanks Loretta for being so helpful, we will definitely return

Couldn't have been in a more perfect position as we were relying on public transport, good and regular bus service right outside the door to Barnstaple from where you could access many other places. Apartment had everything we needed, comfortable beds, fluffy towels, wonderful power shower and equipped kitchen. The 53 stairs were daunting after a long day out but Loretta had pre-warned us! Getting our suitcases up them on arrival was hard, but on departure we just chucked them over the banisters. Simples!! The downside was there was no WiFi. It would have been good to be able to research our days out. Ilfracombe is very picturesque with a huge selection of restaurants, tea rooms, cafes and chippies. Harbour really lovely and interesting. All in all a memorable week.
