Located at the end of a quiet country lane in the picturesque and unspoilt village of Bantham, Sloopside is a contemporary seaside villa with exceptional coastal views and an enviable location. Within easy walking distance is Bantham Beach, widely considered one of the most beautiful in the West Country, and a favourite with surfers and other water sports’ enthusiasts. The excellent village pub, The Sloop Inn, is also just yards from the front door.

Making the most of its unique location, the main house offers uninterrupted views across Bigbury Bay to Burgh Island from all its living areas and bedrooms. Guests can take in the fresh air and sea views from the balcony, or lounge in the private, landscaped garden.

In the covered outdoor dining area, eating al fresco with stunning sea views can be enjoyed whenever the weather is warm enough.

A dedicated parking area to the side of the house provides two parking spaces for main house guests. If required, there is an additional parking space on the hard standing in front of the main house.

Ground floor: lobby with utility cupboard housing washing machine and tumble dryer. Cloakroom. Wet room.

Bedroom 1: two sets single bunk beds.

Bedroom 2: king size bed and door to garden.

Bedroom 3: super king or twin single beds and en suite shower room.

Family bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

First floor: spacious open plan living area, panoramic views out to sea, wide balcony running the width of the house, wood burning stove, TV, PVR and DVD. Kitchen area with induction hob, oven, combination microwave oven, fridge with ice box, wine fridge and dining area to seat ten. Sliding door onto outdoor dining area to seat 14. External stairs down to garden.

Hallway with cloakroom that connects the main house to the annexe when rented together.

Bedroom 4: king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower over bath. Patio door opening onto balcony.

Up to two dogs (minimum age 2 yrs) are permitted at the main house. The weekly charge is £40.00 for the first dog and an additional £25.00 for a second dog.

My second stay at Sloopside and I enjoyed it even more than the first. The location, the views and the house are really first class. The property was spotless and everything had been thought about including my birthday balloons! The attention to detail is amazing and the house is so well equipped. it is definitely a home and not a holiday let. You won’t be disappointed & I look forward to my next visit in May
