Description
A gorgeous, little escape, perfect for a romantic retreat or a great walking adventure. With three footpaths from the end of the drive you'll have access to long walks in any direction. Situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors it is perfect for exploring this magnificent area.
Set in a pretty courtyard with a huge flower border, birds and a 25 mile view from the bedroom the converted stable and smithy is a tranquil place to base yourself.
There is an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a tv and radio for chilling after a busy day.. The kitchen area has an induction hob, two microwaves so you never need to wait for your meal, and a fridge. Take your meal to your table or perhaps dine alfresco on the rustic bench and table. Relax after a wonderful day exploring the local area with a great shower in the en suite shower room. The bedroom has a king-size bed from Seventh heaven beds to give you a really comfy night's sleep.
You have a designated seating area, set beside the farmhouse vegetable garden: perfect for watching the local wildlife and the sun set. Or sit on the bench in the courtyard with your morning coffee. There is also the use of a shared billiards room and tennis court available. Parking is provided for one car.
Dogs are charged at £30 each per full or part week. Can be taken in conjunction with the Escape and The Haven as well as our BNB for larger family events as we have a big party barn. We offer prepared meals and breakfast by arrangement.
We do accept well behaved dogs you for a fee, but they are not allowed on the furniture, on the bed or to be left alone. But with three public footpaths directly from our home there are wonderful walks. The local pub also accepts dogs!

Enclosed Yard for dogs

Furnishings are good quality, underfloor heating is cosy, kitchen well equipped, bathrooms clean with big showers. The fully enclosed garden meant our dogs were safe & we could relax. Walk to Kirbymoorside for pubs, deli's & shops or nearby Gillamoor for its lovely pub. Well return here very happily.
