The Roundhouse is a single storey stone barn conversion in private enclosed garden. It is ideally situated for an extensive range of attractions and activities including surfing on the popular beaches of Bude and Crackington Haven; walking on the South West Coastal Path; exploring the historic villages and gardens; cycling along the Camel Trail; sailing; rambling over Dartmoor or just relaxing and enjoying the spectacular rural scenery. Comfortable, warm and clean in tranquil surroundings, it is full of Cornish charm with stone inglenook fireplaces and wood burning stove. There is dry storage for bikes and drying room for wet suits or wet walking gear! We have a good selection of detailed OS maps, walks and tourist information. Notes on accommodation:
Both cottage gardens are private, enclosed and suitable for a well behaved pet. We do not permit dogs to be left unattended in the cottages/ grounds or allowed on any furniture.
We have a small open fish pond adjoining the shared drive.
Towels are provided; the beds and fires are prepared for our guests' arrival.
We can provide a cot and high chair subject to prior arrangement. No cot linen is supplied.
We warmly welcome all our guests to their cottage and are happy to provide information and assistance when required.
We are happy for guests to arrive any time after 15.30.
Outside:
We are located on the edge of a quiet rural hamlet adjoining open farmland. Access to the cottages is through a five bar gate along a short shingle drive shared with the owners and cottage guests. Private parking is provided adjoining each cottage within their enclosed garden. Roundhouse cottage has a paved and shingled patio with patio furniture, raised stone slab for sitting the BBQ, small lawn and established shrub borders.

Coast/Beach:
Bude, Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven are our nearest beaches all within 20 minutes drive. They are excellent locations for surfing, body boarding, sandcastle building,coastal path walking, amazing geological formations and gazing at the sun sets!
Travel:
Our nearest airports are Exeter and Bristol an hour and two hour drive respectively.
Distances: The nearest towns are Bude and Launceston approx 14 and 8 miles respectively. The nearest places of historical and current interest include Boscastle & Tintagel, the Eden Project, National Trust Houses and gardens RHS Rosemoor Garden, the South West Coastal Path, Dartmoor and Bodmin. Activities such as sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing, surfing, horse riding and rock climbing are all readily accessible.
