The house is beautiful with lots of space

We had a wonderful time staying at Riverside House to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary with our family. The house is beautiful with lots of space and is very comfortably furnished. The kitchen is incredibly well-equipped and spacious, so cooking for a crowd was very easy. There was plenty of cupboard storage space and we were glad of the two fridges and freezer. The garden is very private and was great for eating out and to be able to step out of the house and walk along the river and up to the railway line was great.
The games room is excellent and the provision of board games was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. It is so well loved and looked after - we will definitely be wanting to come back or go to Valley View for another family get together. Thank you Wendy.
We can't wait to return next year

We stayed at Riverside House as a party of 8 + 2 dogs for a family break. The cottage was immaculate, spacious, well equipped and very homely. The whole family loved the games room. Having the river Wye at the bottom of the garden was lovely, along with the beautiful Monsal trail right outside the front door for some great walks and refreshing pubs!
We all had a perfect break and would highly recommend Riverside House and the professional service provided by Wendy (including the doggy welcome packs!)
We can't wait to return next year and to explore more of the stunning Peak District.
It was spotlessly clean
By Jones on 20-Feb-2019
We had a fantastic time at your lovely house. Even the online pictures don't really do justice to the size and layout and setting of the house which were all amazing. It was also spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped.
The unlimited supply of logs was a real bonus and we really enjoyed the welcoming fires, although we were very lucky with the brilliant weather.
In conclusion we had a wonderful week at an amazing house and could find no fault whatsoever, only praise! We would certainly like to stay there again.

We all had a brilliant time at Riverside House and cannot fault the accommodation or the facilities. The house was absolutely beautiful and the location was fantastic. We found the extras like the games room, Sky TV, log burner and board games really added to our stay. The close proximity of the house to the Monsal Trail was great for the dogs too!
The detailed information and travel instructions were really helpful and made getting the property and settled in very easy. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Riverside House, the cottage was fantastic - one of the best we have stayed in. It was beautifully clean, facilities and equipment provided were faultless, you truly thought of everything. The location was very relaxing and we had a perfect weekend. It was all very homely and we didn't want to leave. Also, thank you for all your help and the information you provided in the run-up to our stay. We will be recommending you and hope to be back in the future.

Games room was brilliant
By Lea on 06-Sep-2018
We had a really lovely stay at your home, thank you. The games room/table tennis was brilliant when we had a rainy day. We will seriously contemplate returning and as a group of 12 adults everything was great at the holiday cottage.

The cottage is wonderful and worked perfectly for our family. What a fantastic location. We visited Chatsworth House for the festive market and decorated house then walking and Sunday lunch at the Anglers Rest whch was lovely. All age groups loved it. We are already talking about doing it again next year.
It feels just like home

I don't know where to begin. From extensive, well thought and stocked kitchen to the style and character to location, views, walks and wildlife. And most importantly it feels just like home. We just love it.
