Come and stay at Megan's Cottage and embrace a slower pace of life or for those that want fun filled days there is plenty to chose from not to far away.
Megan's is a characterful detached barn conversion situated in the village of LLwynmawr, in the heart of one of the most picturesque settings in North Wales. Just 6 miles from Chirk on the B4500 you enter a different world, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, especially in these unprecedented times. Peace -Quiet and Tranquillity.
Megan's cottage is also 3 miles from the village of Glyn Ceiriog where you can hire bikes or go horse riding and 6 miles away is the picturesque town of Llangollen and is full of history and places of interest.
Megan's cottage has been designed and renovated to offer excellent accommodation for family gatherings or a group of friends to discover this beautiful region. There is a well-equipped large kitchen with a range cooker and centre island, alongside a separate dining room, which has the added benefit of a wood burner and patio doors to the garden. The sitting room has a beamed vaulted ceiling and a wood burner ,there are French doors with glazed panels along one wall, offering stunning views across the scenic Ceiriog valley. There is also a light and airy garden room where you can relax and enjoy the views.
There are four bedrooms, two king-size doubles upstairs in the older part of the cottage, which has modern styling coupled with quirky features, including exposed oak beams and sloping ceilings. The other two bedrooms, a king-size double en-suite and a family room with double and single bed, are on the ground floor and are complemented by a double sofa bed in the sitting room.
Outside the cottage are large gardens on three sides of the property, with relaxing patio areas, giving plenty of space for children and your pets to play whilst you relax with the babble of running water from the fenced stream, and admire the beautiful scenery which surrounds the cottage.
There are also many walks that radiate from the village, with many more within a short drive.
The local 18th century Mulberry Inn is within a 3 mins stroll and has an excellent reputation for its well stocked bar and award winning food.
Just a few miles away are the popular towns of Chirk and Llangollen, with many other places of interest such as Chirk Castle, the Roman city of Chester, Snowdonia National Park and Zip World to name but a few. North Wales has something to offer all. It's beautiful .

Note: Steps lead to a raised terrace lawn to rear, with a steep drop to pathway - children to be supervised.
There is also a shallow step between the hall and conservatory, the conservatory and the dining room, and the entrance hall and kitchen.
Note: No stag/hen or similar.
