Sitting at the foot of the famous and mysterious Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands, is the Highland Club, providing luxury holiday homes in a unique and beautiful environment. The Abbey has been creatively and beautifully renovated from a fort into 109 holiday apartments. Catering for many different requirements, these holiday homes are tastefully decorated, and also well furnished and fully equipped.
The renovation of the former St Benedictine’s Abbey has retained many of its original features since the monks’ first acquired it. Additionally, the location is steeped with history dating back as far as 565AD.
The Highland Club and Loch Ness do not attract so many visitors by chance! We are neatly located in arguably the centre of the Scottish Highlands. Consequently, the Highland Club is within easy reach of so many attractions which include Ben Nevis, The Caledonian Canal, Urquhart self catering castle and many more.
Also, there are properties for sale at The Highland Club! These properties can either make excellent investments as holiday rentals, or worthwhile considerations as that special retirement home or a re-location. To view the properties for sale at the Highland Club, click here.
Make the most of your Highland Club holiday: In addition, The Highland Club caters for holiday makers from all over the world. Our guests enjoy a range of outdoor activities such as the tennis court, badminton court, fitness studio, kids adventure playground, table tennis and more. In addition, there is a range of indoor facilities, including our heated indoor swimming pool, 24/7 Club Lounge with free WiFi and fitness studio. As a guest of the Highland Club, you will have full and free access to all this and more!
Or sometimes they prefer to relax and explore the 20 acres of ground that constitutes the Highland Club. Some might venture into the quaint village of Fort Augustus and take a ride on the Loch Ness Cruise.
They may stop for a drink and some lunch in one of the many bars. Some go sightseeing in Drumnadrochit or Urquhart Castle. Or even sit at the foot of Loch Ness and watch for the famous Nessie, because she’s actually really friendly when you get to know her!
So, whatever the preferred type of holiday, Highland Club Scotland promises to have it all and we look forward to welcoming you!
Flexible holidays in The Highland Club: Short breaks are also available! The only restriction is a minimum 2-night stay and then the sky is the limit! Our gallery is great but it doesn’t do the Highland Club any justice.

I can't speak highly enough of this amazing resort. The apartment we had was exceptional, with a welcome pack including wine and shortbread, Sky tv, Wi-Fi and the facilities at Highland Club are perfect.
Swimming pool. Sauna. Steam room. The old refectory housed the Snooker table and Pool table, with books to read and board games. Table tennis. Outdoor activities. There was so much to do, obviously only if you ever got fed up of the wonderful highland scenery around Loch Ness.
If you're looking for a nice quiet and relaxing break in a beautiful location, this is the place.
Fantastic Place - Deserves 6 Points!

That is a perfect place for real holiday! You feel warmly welcome by the stuff and the whole facility (both the very well-equipped apartment and the public parts like "chapel pool" etc.) is excellent. It is a great place and highly recommended for some relaxing days with lots of possibilities even on rainy days.
Only the Boat House restaurant, which is on the same ground as the Highland Club, has been disappointing with a salad as obvious left-over from lunch, but offered for dinner. The rest of the food there was good, but there also are plenty of other places for dining in the charming little village.
It has been the best place during our Scotland tour and we can highly recommend it!!!
Five Stars Is Note Enough

couldn't ask for more from our stay at the Boys' Dormitory (in the Highland Club): immaculate design, courteous owners and staff and fantastic facilities (including pool, dry and wet saunas...). This was way less like a hotel and way more like having your dream-house for a few nights. It may just be the best place I have ever stayed (in over ten years of travel).
The Perfect Place To Fall In Love With The Highlands
By Tinagiawolff on 01-Jul-2018
We had the Chapter House, a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen, laundry, dining room and two living areas. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The weather didn't allow us to take advantage of all the amenities, buy my teens enjoyed the giant chess game, the pool, the pool tables, and ping pong. With Fort Augustus just a two minute walk, we had easy access to food, walking trails, and Loch Ness.

Beautiful setting, open friendly staff, wonderful place to relax! Local shops and restaurants for self catering supplies and eating out! Beautifully and accessible walks without moving your car! A favourite place of ours.
