A little piece of heaven

This is a fabulous house in a quiet unspoilt part of Cornwall. We were a 3 generation family from the ages of 5 to 65 and everyone absolutely loved it here. From the hot tub on the terrace with superb sea views to the calmness and comfort of this lovely home. The name 'Buddha Beach House' really suits the property and we found it to match the description given 100%. There are some beautiful and quirky pieces of art all over the house for all to enjoy which we found exceptional as lots of holiday homes are usually very minimalistic. The beach was literally a few steps away and our grandchildren loved searching the rock pools for wildlife. There was so much excitement when they found a large starfish. This house has a definite home from home feel and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. The owners were really swift with their responses throughout. The only negative we can give about this whole holiday is NOT to visit The Inn on the Shore in Downderry. (2hr wait for food!) There were tears from our granddaughter on leaving so I'm pretty sure we'll be going back again to enjoy this peaceful, tranquil house and location.

Spectacular location, beautifully furnished, well equipped. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is everything you would expect and more. Only downside for us was the local cafe The Jolly Roger was expensive and disappointing and the pub up the road was closed due to a fire so we had to drive out a lot. Didn’t spoil our holiday though.
Fantastic Holiday home

Buddha beach house was in our opinion the perfect choice for a family holiday. The thoughtful design of the property and the décor was amazing, we were all very relaxed in the environment created for us. We never had a dull moment with lots to do in the house from hot tub and BBQ to classic games which reawakened healthy rivalry with lots of banter. Even cooking was fun in the funky kitchen. We enjoyed spectacular views out to sea from the patio and cosy lounge, we were lucky enough to see the most dramatic lightening storm over the sea in the evening which will be a long term memory. It is positioned in a well placed location only a stones throw from coastal walks for all abilities with the motivation of refreshments on route which we found most pleasant; dog friendly beach and another beach suitable for small children with rock pools too for a traditional British seaside holiday with out the commercialism; what more could you want? Good food found at the local pub so we kept on calling. Smugglers Cott pub at Looe was also good eatery with ambiance which brought a perfect day to a close when we took the glass bottomed boat from Looe to Polypro. Buddha beach house knows how to 'holiday' - creating lots of smiles fun and laughter. Happy memories are lifetime treasures which we certainly have. A return visit is certainly on our wish list as we believe that you cannot find a better holiday home.
A Little Bit of Paradise in Cornwall

From the moment we arrived to the very moment we sadly had to vacate, The word "Wow" was on our lips! What an absolute treasure of a house, suitable for couples, families and friends. The house was spotless, and decorated to a very high standard, I love the collection of art and figurines that just add even more charm to this property. We had a long weekend and the weather was not the best outside but it didn't matter as there was so much to do in the house! From relaxing in the Hot Tub with a glass of bubbly, games night or simply reading and listening to a playlist that is provided via spotify on the tablet! When the weather did clear up, there was some amazing walks for us to do, and with only 15 minutes from Liskeard we headed off some Adrenalin filled Go Kart Grand Prix Racing! In the evenings we had dinner surrounded by candlelight and then headed to the basement for a movie night! I can not recommend this house enough, and I cant wait to go back for another stay. Thank you for helping us to make memories that we will fondly look back on for a lifetime!
Beautifully designed property, stunning views of the rugged coastline.

Four generations of my family, ranging from 22-83, all female, spent an amazing week at this gorgeous property. We didn’t get the best weather but that didn’t make any difference to our enjoyment. All that you need is there; hot tub was wonderful!! Thank you Rod and Suze
Fabulous home from home and better

This is a wonderful homely home for the family and the dogs loved it...we even met Ross Poldark while we were here. Amy the dog sitter was amazing and Georgie the chef from Padstow was "A" class and the in house massage and reflexology with the waves crashing outside was like a top class spa in itself! We have booked for next year already!

This is a lovely house sleeping three couples in luxury with space for four children in bunks. The web site is accurate in all respects, the house was immaculate and beautifully maintained, the owners couldn't have been more accommodating and we had a ball. The hot tub and BBQ suppers on the terrace overlooking the sea were particularly memorable. There was lots to do and see but the highlights, for us, were the golf at Whitsand Bay with trips to St Mellion and St Enodoc, breakfast at The Whitsand Bay Hotel, dinner at The Finnygook Inn (lobster and chips!) and the Blue Plates in Downderry, the Cawsand ferry, the coastal path, Millandreath (the Black Rock restaurant and bar) and the rock pools. Skip The Jolly Roger! The only thing I would say is that the house is not really suitable for unsupervised toddlers and/or people who have difficulty with stairs; and if you have a 4x4, be very careful in the underground car park! We'd recommend it to anybody. In fact, we already have!
A magical place to create unforgettable memories

This stunning property situated in a beautiful and private location was perfect for us to get together with our family and friends to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary in style. The house and it's facilities is amazing and a privilege to have the opportunity of staying in such fabulous surroundings. The owners and staff couldn't have been more sincere or helpful with nothing being too much trouble. Whilst we were aware that there were lots of lovely places to visit or eat we found the facilities and the ambience of the house so delightful we just didn't feel the need to go out but took advantage of relaxing and enjoying the views. We would recommend this property unreservedly to anyone.

Having stayed at the beach house for the last 5 years, it feels more like going home... It is absolutely unique, and beyond stunning. The house is so finely tuned to make sure your stay in beyond your expectations... It is perfection. There is the most beautiful and tasteful art work around the house, The room decoration is without question so elegant and tasteful. The views will absolutely take your breakaway. I fully intended to visit as many times as I can, with my family and my friends..This beautiful house is the perfect place to have a holiday..it heals your mind and soul, with its peace, serenity and gentle sounds of the sea. If you take children there is a special place for them to play, watch tv and play games, giving the adults a break....don't think twice, you won't find better!
