Elegant Maison de Maître lovingly restored over some years by the current owners. The traditional restoration work has been executed to a very high standard and the manor now offers grand accommodation for the perfect holiday. Standing within its large grounds, it is an ideal choice to enjoy and relax in the privacy without intrusion of neighbors nearby. The tree-lined driveway leads up to a large parking area facing the magnificent front entrance of the house.
At the rear side of the property one can indulge in a refreshing plunge in the large 12m x 6m swimming pool whilst overlooking the rolling countryside or simply relax with a glass of wine in one of the shaded areas in the surrounding garden.
This grand property offers an ideal get away from all the commitments; it is located in an area revealing many picturesque villages and medieval bastide towns, such as Tournon d’Agenais, Pujols and Penne d’Agenais, all steeped in history and displaying far reaching views.
Many of the numerous Cahors wine producers of this area are less than a 10-minute drive away and you can sample these renowned French wines ‘sur place’ at their vineyards.

Although it is possible to access the property by the front grand staircase it is more practical through the side door which opens into a large modern country kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped; there is a large gas range with hob, a fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and an excellent range of utensils. The beautiful antique oak dining table can easily accommodate 8/10 people. From the kitchen and dining area, double doors open to the poolside terrace and bring the outside in.
From the downstairs hall way is a large family wet room/ bathroom. This spacious bathroom is easily accessible from the poolside, with completely tiled walls, and has a bath, shower, wash basin and WC. Adjacent to this is the utility room equipped with washing machine and dryer. The ground floor also provides a large store room with table tennis table and equipment.
Ascending the magnificent oak staircase which leads to a grand hall way upstairs look reveals the impressive carved oak front door at the far end. This spacious light and elegant hall way is welcoming onto the beautiful rich polished oak wooden floors.
A minimalist decoration of this first floor demonstrates the tasteful features and ambience correspondent to the period when this manor was originally built.
The hallway provides entrance to the sitting room with comfortable sofas and a large fireplace. There is satellite television (Sky Freeview) and a DVD player.

Four bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 8/10 people all very large and airy with some beautiful French wardrobes and furniture.
Bedroom 1 is equipped with a double bed, from this bedroom is a spacious fully tiled wet room with shower, basin and WC.
Bedroom 2 is equipped with twin beds, an en-suite shower room with shower, basin and WC. Views from this room extend over a grassed area to the original barns.
Bedroom 3 is equipped with a double bed, an en-suite shower room with large shower, basin and WC.
Bedroom 4 is a very large room and is equipped with twin beds with the option for 2 more single beds, which are stored under the twin beds.

Linen is included but please bring your swimming pool towels. The internet is available at the house but neither Kingfisher or the owner are liable for any loss or interruption
We regret that pets cannot be accommodated in the manor.

Outdoors – The restoration of the property extends through to the outside grounds with large grassed areas and well planted trees, pool side terrace with lighting for the evenings and the lovely 12m x6m swimming pool, overlooking the countryside make this difficult not to leave the house. The pool has roman steps and there is plenty of garden furniture and a BBQ.On the final invoice is a security deposit charge of €500.00 against breakages etc. and extra cleaning if required, but which is of course refundable if not used.This property is available from a Saturday to Saturday.

Great location! The house is superb, very quiet, huge swimming pool, all home needed facilities available. We recommend this location for who wants to have a relaxing time. Cahors (main big city) is about half an hour driving. You have a lot of other small villages around to get the daily needs (bread, wine, supermarket...) and don’t forget to visit the Sunday or Thursday local market in Montcuq, absolutely awesome (typical village, lot of local producers, only quality food!).
