Greenwood holiday cottage is a new luxury one bedroom cottage, which sleeps two, it is very spacious and it has been designed to offer our quests all the facilities and luxuries necessary to enjoy a relaxing stay on World Heritage Jurassic coastline.
Spend your days exploring the South West Coastal Path (accessible just a mile from the cottage) with miles and miles of fabulous walking backed by stunning seascapes. Visit the pretty coastal towns and villages of Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Seaton, Beer, Branscombe, Bridport, West Bay and Abbotsbury with its beautiful tropical gardens. Enjoy lazy days on one of the areas many unspoilt beaches which are famed for fossil hunting, or explore Thomas Hardy country and follow in the footsteps of this famous poet. Head inland to Axminster (home to the River Cottage HQ, canteen and deli) or the county town of Dorchester and browse the shops. The choices are endless!
We are centrally located to enable you to visit the many attractions that this beautiful coastline has to offer. Lyme Regis is under 6 miles away to the west and Weymouth is 22 miles to the east. ACCOMMODATION

Fantastic Place to Stay

Greenwood Cottage was the perfect place to stay for my few days away. Fantastic location, just minutes drive away from beaches in both directions (West Bay, Seatown, Lyme Regis, Charmouth etc). Extremely close to the Golden Cap & Coast path walks, and just a few minutes walk away from the Farm Shop. Greenwood Cottage itself was immaculate and a delightful place to stay. All amenities you could wish for in a self-catering holiday let and beautifully finished. Spacious, modern and a great location. Very peaceful. A fantastic few days away and I couldn't recommend this place more!
Very enjoyable time in dorset

This converted barn, which is well equipped and in very good decorative order, is ideal for a couple wanting a quiet time together. It has a decent sized garden with picnic tables and easy foot access to Morcombelake Village via a gate at the back of the garden. It is also well placed for visits to Lyme Regis, Charmouth and further afield to places such as Weymouth and Seaton.

This was my second visit and just as lovely as the first.
It's a pleasure to stay in such a clean and comfortable place that's so well thought out and equipped. I really appreciated the fast wi-fi, big flat tv, comfy bed and very efficient heating and shower. After a day out exploring the area or walking the beautiful coastline so nearby, it's wonderful to come back 'home'. I also loved the coffee from the excellent farm shop opposite!
The owner is easy to contact and gives clear instructions beforehand with a follow up email afterwards. All this helps to create a very happy time and I’m sure I’ll be back again!
Beautiful area and great place to stay

A two minute walk to a great tea room, diverse farm shop and the Moore biscuit shop. This great, new and superbly clean property was a pleasure to stay in and the owners and booking service were great,
Its ten minutes drive to Lyme Regis which is beautiful and there is a great 45 minute walk to the sea.
The place itself has everything you need, we stayed for 7 days and made full use of the kitchen, washer, dishwasher, wi-fi, etc. The fact these cottages are two adjoining properties put me off a little before we arrived, but there is no problem with noise or privacy. I'd highly recommend it.

This converted barn is set in a pretty village close to the Golden Cap ( highest point on this part of the south coast). It is a great base to explore some of the most beautiful countryside and amazing views of the Jurassic coastline. There are several walks but those of us from the flatter parts of the country be prepared for what we called 'extreme walking' especially if you climb the Golden Cap from the west side but honestly we loved the walks that we did.
The barn is split into two one bedroom cottages, it is decorated beautifully and the fixtures and fittings are top quality, everything we needed had been thought of and the welcome pack biscuits didn't last long after a six hour journey.
There is a Morrisons supermarket in the little town of Bridport only three or four miles along the A35. We also discovered a lovely little place called West Bay, there had been a recent cliff fall and we found some great fossils, it has a great little harbour and quite a few little food outlets and shops.
We both fell in love with this part of Dorset and we were so grateful that we found such a beautiful holiday cottage. Would we recommend it? Would we return to this particular cottage again? 100% Yes and Yes!
What an amazing holiday and we can't wait to repeat it again soon.
