'Trente et Un' Rue de l'Allochon is a private, enclosed collection of properties all owned by the same family.
Set in sizeable grounds, complete with a private fenced lake and stream, 'Trente et Un' offers two delightful places to stay, being La Maison and Les Rossignols. The third property on the site is the private holiday residence of the owners and is not available to rent.
'Trente et Un' is situated on the edge of the delightful town of Montmorillon, known locally as Le Cite d'Ecrit (City of Literature), famed for its bookshops and literary culture.
The town itself is a ten minute stroll from 'Trente et Un' and has plenty to offer in terms of places to eat, bars and small shops and is typically and charmingly French! The surrounding area is rich in history and tradition and there is no shortage of things to do or places to visit, whatever your tastes!
'Trente et Un' itself is set in an idyllic location and, once inside the grounds, you benefit from a wonderful level of privacy.
Very French yet modernised throughout, with Wi-Fi and bicycles available, we heartily recommend these two properties for an unforgettable visit to this area of France!
'Les Rossignols' is the smaller of the two properties available to rent at 'Trente et Un'.
A typical mezzanine-style property, 'Les Rossignols' offers a large living area with open plan kitchen, fully equipped with fridge freezer, cooker with hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.
The mezzanine-style bedroom accommodates a double bed and storage area and there is further sleeping availability on the sofa bed in the main living area. There is also a separate, fully modernised bathroom with bath, WC and shower.
'Les Rossignols' offers a great degree of privacy along with a decked area overlooking the small, private lake, of which fishing is permitted. Visitors can enjoy use of the sizeable, private grounds.
This property is ideal for couples or families with older children.Access may be an issue for disabled visitors.
