Description
Hooper’s Hill overlooks the entrance to Mylor Creek, this traditional 3-bedroom wooden house was built in the 1920s, it has all its original features, and was previously owned by the same family for 80 years, the author Howard Spring. It nestles in 1½ acres of the garden leading down to the creek with views out over the wonderful sailing waters of the Carrick Roads.
In the house, you’ll find all of Howard Spring’s novels on the shelves here along with many other books in several languages. The snug has French windows leading to a decked balcony for outdoor meals, and there’s another separate sitting room – both have wood burners, interesting artwork, stunning views and plenty of games. Evenings in the garden with the barbecue sizzling will be magical.
