This stunning first floor apartment, is part of a converted listed Georgian manor house, is close to Pembroke town with it's Norman castle and numerous individual small shops (small supermarket too) and just a short drive from lovely Pembrokeshire beaches. The south facing lounge overlooks the grounds and woodland nature reserve beyond. You can spot birds on the bird table including woodpeckers and nuthatches from your window (and those naughty squirrels too). There is a well equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, family size fridge freezer and full size oven and hob with extractor. Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and the apartment is suitable for both couples and families. The beach at Freshwater East is around 5 miles and the popular seaside town of Tenby is around 10 miles. Other beaches within reach are the quiet beaches of Barafundel (one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world), Manorbier, Swanlake Bay, and the long wilder beach of Freshwater West known for its rolling coasters and laverbread hut. Pembroke town has a tidal millpond with many ducks, herons and swans and even otters are spotted here. The apartment is "in the country and close to town" and ideal as a base to explore beautiful Pembrokeshire, great for families.
Children over 6 are very welcome. No smoking is allowed within the building (this is the law) but you can smoke in the garden.
Excellent location, well equipped and spacious
By Hannah D on 19-Aug-2018
With plenty of room for a family of four, this felt like a luxurious break away. With the living area at the other end of the apartment to the twin room, there was no issue with being able to stay up after the kids had gone to bed, as can so often be the case in smaller accommodation. The kids were able to roam round the garden and off into the woods, which was nice for them to have some freedom. It's a great location just a half hour walk at most from the middle of town, and a very short drive to lots of brilliant beaches. We'd stay again, and we'd recommend it to others.
Bay Trees Apartment, Pembroke
By Caloline Crumble on 17-Jul-2017
Had a wonderful stay at Bay Trees which is part of the Holyland Gardens Apartments, Holyland Road, Pembroke. The Apartment was very clean, light and airy and very well equipped to eat in if you preferred to do this rather than walk or drive into Pembroke which was about 3/4 mile away. The location was ideal for getting out and about around Pembrokeshire to visit all the wonderful beaches. My only slight negative is the road. It is very busy so if you have the window open at night and are not used to traffic noise you should invest in some earplugs! Don't let that put you off though as the location, the gardens and the Apartment are fantastic - missing it already.
Beautiful bright and airy apartment

We had a wonderful stay at Bay Trees with our 2 children (11 and 7). The apartment is bright and airy with everything you could wish for. The kids absolutely loved Freshwater East (nearest beach 10mins away) and returned there everyday. There's also a great cafe/bar called Long House opposite the beach where the people are very welcoming. Christine was very warm and welcoming - thank you!

We loved staying here. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. The apartment is beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. It was lovely to watch the wildlife in the garden. The location was perfect for exploring. Thank you for a great break.
Spacious newly renovated apartment
By James N on 18-Apr-2017
Christine and Maurice were very welcoming and friendly. Christine met us at arrival and explained everything about the apartment and grounds. The apartments living room was a good size and the kitchen had everything you needed. It has a large garden with a gate to a nice forest walk which the kids really enjoyed. The apartment has been recently renovated and we were the first to stay. It is very close to Pembroke itself where you have some shops and pubs. It's close to some beautiful beaches, only 15minutes drive to Barafundle bay.
