3 bedroom, 2 bathroom modern house in a sheltered coastal valley, just a short walk from Porthtowan's wonderful beach.

The house has many sustainable features including cedar cladding, a sedum turf roof, very high levels of insulation, an integrated ventilation system with heat recovery and efficient electric heaters. The whole resort was carefully designed to blend in with the surrounding landscape such that it is almost invisible from the nearby beach and cliff top walks, yet is light, sunny and secluded.

Village amenities include a small grocery store, hairdresser, surf hire and tuition and numerous cafes and pub / restaurants including the famous Blue Bar and newly refurbished Unicorn On The Beach.

The house sits at the highest point of the resort, tucked away in a quiet corner. It has a rear terrace, front veranda and a first floor balcony that offer privacy and enable you to be in the sun all day long, or in the shade if it gets too hot. The communal garden to the front is great for children to play and meet others staying in neighbouring properties.

The ground floor is very spacious and light with three glazed doors and side windows. The lounge area has a large corner leather sofa, coffee tables, a 49 in. Smart TV and a wide choice of reading material, games etc. The dining area has a large and sturdy oak dining set. The kitchen is separate and also large and well-equipped with a view to the rear. The rear terrace has a picnic table and a large corner sofa in a sheltered and sunny spot for coffee and sunbathing. There is also a WC on the ground floor. There is a wireless connection to a fast fibre internet service in every room.

The rear of the house is open right up to the roof with huge windows which greet the morning sun. A painted wood staircase leads to the first floor.

The main bedroom is very spacious and has a delightful balcony which gets the sun for most of the day and has a lovely view over the rooftops to the surrounding countryside. This room has a superking size bed, plenty of drawers and a hanging rail plus a good sized en suite shower room. Two more bedrooms offer a king size double bed and twin beds , both with storage space and hanging rails. The shared family bathroom has a full size bath with thermostatic shower mixer, plus wash basin and WC. All bedrooms have blackout blinds or curtains.

There is an allocated parking space just a short walk from the entrance door. Please note the access path is on a slope and includes some steps so is probably not suitable for anyone with limited mobility that wants to come and go frequently.
