Beautiful Townhouse - close to be beach, marina and water sports facilities 'Seahaven' is a beautiful town house, of contemporary design, originally conceived and built as competitor accommodation for the 2012 Olympics sailing events (the Danish team in our case). This 4 double bedroom, 2 bathroom townhouse is light and spacious, sleeping 8 with 2 additional travel cots for babies. It is decorated and equipped to the highest standards, with open plan living extending from kitchen, through dining and living area, opening to a well proportioned and secure south facing garden. There is garden seating and a large BBQ; perfect for al fresco dining. Nestled between Chesil Beach, Portland Castle and world class sailing and water sports facilities.
'Seahaven' is perfectly located for exploring Dorset and Devon, with its stunning 'Jurassic coast' and beautiful countryside. Cafes, pubs, marina and fabulous beaches are just minutes away on foot.
Back for the 4th time!

This is our holiday home from home. We have stayed here twice on our own and twice with family which includes 2 children 9 & 11 and have never been disappointed. We feel so comfortable in this lovely holiday home where everything has been thought of. The comfort and cleanliness cannot be faulted (and I am fussy) We will be coming back for a fifth time there is no doubt!
A stylish property equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay

We had such a lovely time staying at Seahaven, you have created a wonderful home away from home. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy family time together. We hope to return again one day!
A wonderful place to stay at any time of year
By Julie J on 19-Feb-2018
Seahaven was the perfect base for a long weekend during February half term. The house was large, warm and extremely comfortable. Every room was clean and tastefully decorated and we really liked knowing that the Danish sailing team had stayed in the house during the 2012 Olympics!
The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything you could possibly need - it really was a pleasure rather than a chore to cook in such a lovely kitchen.
In the summer, I can imagine the garden being a real sun trap and a great place to enjoy a BBQ.
The free wi-fi and a great selection of board games, jigsaws, DVDs and books made this house a really good choice for families - particularly in the winter.
The location of Seahaven was ideal - Chesil beach was just a few minutes walk away and was spectacular. We also enjoyed visiting nearby Portland Bill and Durdle Door.
All in all, this home from home made for a very relaxing break. The owners have supplied absolutely everything you might need during your stay and the house is an ideal base to explore Dorset.

The best yet

We stayed at Seahaven in August and found everything we needed. The house was clean and inviting. We have used self catering accommodation for some years and this is by far the best we have stayed in.
The Cove House Inn should be visited with a good menu and friendly service.

Amazing property, home from home
By Sue C on 06-Jan-2017
What a wonderful home, the minute we walked through the door it felt comfortable and the attention to detail is great, you don't want for anything and the house is comfortable and cosy and decor beautiful, can't wait to return. The owners were brilliant to work with with any questions we had. Thank you Mike and Julia.
Fabulous home from home in a peaceful location

This property was the perfect base for our family holiday in the local area. Beaches within walking distance and Weymouth Beach a short 10minute drive away was beautiful and sandy for our 2 year old. Also 20 mins from Abbotsbury and it's attractions. The house was well equipped with the essentials and all the home comforts you could hope for. The décor and facilities of an exceptional standard. We were particularly impressed with the provision of so many of the bulky items you need when travelling with a toddler - travel cot, change mat, high chair and booster and plastic bowls, plates and cutlery. The property's location was on a quiet estate with views up over Portland and out of one bedroom you could see the sea! The owners were incredibly helpful at offering tips and advice on local amenities. All in all a lovely relaxing family break with extended family and one we hope to repeat next year as we all enjoyed it so much. Thank you.
