Enjoying a spectacular setting less than 200m from the South West Coast Path, Candlecroft HQ offers an unforgettable Cornish holiday for up to six guests. This contemporary property with a Scandinavian touch and hot tub is within a short walk of the nearest shops and pubs in the beautiful village of St Agnes.

All on one level, Candlecroft HQ offers three bedrooms, including a master bedroom with direct access to the scenic deck area at the rear of the lodge. With two king-size rooms and one twin, there’s the flexibility you need for a family break or a group of couples and singles. Dressed with high-quality linens, each one will guarantee a restful night.

The main living space is open-plan and features eye-catching rose gold lighting and a green velvet sofa. There’s a dining area and breakfast bar towards the patio doors, for casual or more formal dining, as well as a flatscreen TV with Freeview channels, and a well-equipped kitchen. A family shower room completes the accommodation inside.

Outside, you have a large field with a firepit, and seating to enjoy your surroundings from the deck area. There’s more than enough room for children to play, while you enjoy both the sun and the peace and quiet. We have also installed a 6 person hot tub this year to make your stay extra special. (Please note due to heating times hottub is usually available from night 2 of your stay) Stargazing from the tub is an experience not to be missed.

St Agnes itself has all the picturesque charm you would want from a Cornish village, and some great places to eat, from beach hut cafés to rustic pubs and a former post office which is now the local coffee house. In fact, for such a small place it has big foodie credentials – so try as many places as you can find.

Nearby Trevaunance Cove is a great surfing beach, and the ever-popular Perranporth is just a few miles along the coast, in the direction of Newquay – itself just 12 miles away.

St Agnes’ central position puts an awful lot within reach, from the Eden Project to St Michael’s Mount, Truro, The Lizard and Land’s End, so a stay at Candlecroft HQ is going to deliver a Westcountry break full of incredible memories.

Thanks from all the Schofields for hosting us. We had a terrific time both at Candlecroft and the surrounding area... The standard of the accommodation, and your hospitality were both excellent and the only downside is the kids are now really disappointed with our own trampoline and garden ;-)

Tranquil House

Your lovely home was perfect...and the location just right for us. Its a testament to both, that at no time, did we feel under each others feet (not always easy for 12 people !!!!). You know I have stayed in St Agnes before, but never found the tranquility, Candlecroft and its surroundings afforded us adults......plus the kids had a the garden area. All in all, just what we were looking for. The whole family are already asking if we can return, so looks like i'll be contacting you in new year.

Stunning Property

This was a stunning holiday home very clean, spacious and modern exactly what we were looking for. There was ten of us so the property worked very well especially with the two Lounges. We also had a disabled child and adult with us so the downstairs bedrooms and large bathroom with open shower was perfect . The owners were very accommodating and very helpful with our needs. We were close enough to everything we needed. It was a perfect holiday home . We will be back !!
