Description
Chalet le Meleze is a much-loved second home, to which we have welcomed rental guests, who treat it with respect and care, for over 20 years. It sits in private grounds of lawns and trees, with a few other traditional, privately-owned chalets on the edge of St Jean de Sixt. The grounds, for the use of residents and their guests, include private parking, a children's play area and a swimming pool. St Jean, a lively village, is perfectly situated between the winter and summer resorts of la Clusaz and Grand Bornand - five minutes from each by road, half an hour from beautiful Annecy and one hour from Geneva. There are plenty of activities available all year round, from ski-ing (Nordic and Alpine), snow boarding and skating to parapenting, riding, golf and hiking plus places to visit including Annecy, old Geneva, Evian and, Yvoire. Or, in late Spring and in Autumn, just some mountain tranquillity.The chalet has two ground floor bedrooms and a spacious mezzanine with two single beds (children over six years), a modern kitchen and its own small garden and terrace.
Prices range from £795 to £995 a week (Saturday-Saturday in high seasons), depending on the time of year. Linen and towels are available for £24 per person. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at £30 .

By the Green family on 27-Feb-2025We had a wonderful holiday in La Clusaz, and we couldn't wait to come back to your lovely chalet after a day skiing. We thought it was very clean and comfortable, and we were extremely happy with everything. We would definitely consider coming back in the future.
