A beautiful property set in a third of an acre of mature gardens and surrounded by raised sun decks and mature flower beds, with the added luxury of a fantastic jacuzzi hydrotherapy hot tub housed in a vaulted wooden spa shelter. The gardens are beautifully lit at night and, for alfresco diners, there is a double brick-built Portuguese-style BBQ. All weather patio furniture is provided plus hammock, recliners and parasol.
The property is decorated in a mix of contemporary and traditional styles with 5 bedrooms (2 4 poster) and 3 separate living areas - making it ideal for larger groups. It is superbly equipped and entertainment options include 2xSky PlusHD, CD collection, large range of board games and small library of books, DVDs and videos.
The property is within walking distance of 3 excellent village pubs, close to several superb beaches and golf. It is an ideal base from which to explore both the Forest and the blue flag beaches and vibrant nightlife of nearby Bournemouth.
Great Place for a family break!
By Stewart W on 04-Apr-2017
We were impressed by this property as soon as we found it. It was the right size (5 beds/ sleeps 10) and location (right on our target search location band). Booking was easy and thereafter communications with the owner were first class. All the arrangements were set out clearly and accurately. The directions were very easy to follow (varied slightly from the SatNav route, but nothing significant) and first access was easy. The welcome hamper was well-filled with relevant provisions for starters. We found plenty of everything (towels/ crockery/ cutlery/ cooking stuff) that we needed and hardly used any of the stuff we had brought. Allocating the rooms was tricky (!) due to our family groupings but everybody was very happy with what they got. Plenty of room to be together - or in smaller groups. Huge range of tapes/ games/ DVDs/ CDs/ books etc to cater for everybody's tastes. The table really does (s)eat 10 people! Whole house was on the warm side for us but clearly the central heating/ hot water is up to the job. Grounds were well presented although for weather and other activities we didn't really use the garden - except as the pathway to the hot tub. Eight of us used it several times over and the 4 granddaughters really, really enjoyed it! For another whole-family occasion we'd certainly look at re-booking, as it was so comfortable, well-equipped and nicely located so convenient for so many different activities. Thank you Jackie for a great family break!
Home from home with hot tub
By S Ryan on 12-Aug-2016
This was our third year at Virasol and hopefully will not be our last, the house is great for large family groups we are 6 adults and 4 children, the weather was fantastic so we spent most days on the beach, southbourn, fryers cliff and highcliff all great sandy beaches and fantastic fun in the sea, we also visited Moors Valley park good cycle roots and safe for the children, we made good use of the BBQ and the hot tub, the hamper that Jackie left us was brilliant as always, can't think of a better place to spend a week with the family, the children call it the hot tub house and absolutely love it.
Put it in the Family Memory Bank

You can trust the superlative adjectives about Virasol. Every need for an extended family's celebration was catered for. The kitchen was amply equipped. Our granddaughter enjoyed the 2nd upstairs sitting room - space for reading and relaxing. Easter egg hunt in the garden was great fun. Not only the house, but Bransgore itself proved a delight. Shopkeepers friendly and helpful and loads of local produce to try and walks to sample. The local pubs are very good too. The hot tub proved very popular and the owners really do go 'the extra mile' to ensure a happy experience. The welcome hamper was amazing and all three generations of our family thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Perfect Place to Stay
By Felicity on 14-Mar-2015
We spent 3 nights at Virasol for my husbands 40th birthday. It was a family trip and there were 10 of us including 4 kids... We all loved Virasol. Such a great house with lots of space and everything you could need for your trip. There's a great garden with a big BBQ and a lovely hot tub. The owners were so helpful and left an amazing welcome hamper. There's lots to do nearby - we went crabbing at Mudeford, to Moors Valley Country park (great play area, cafe, steam train, walks and Go Ape treetop adventure course) and to Highcliffe castle and beach .... The perfect house in the perfect location!
A fantastic place to stay!
By Jen on 29-Aug-2014
We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at Virasol. The accommodation was very suitable for our family and very well equipped. It certainly felt like a home and not a holiday house. A huge hamper welcomed us full of delicious treats! The BBQ and hot tub were very much enjoyed. An ideal location for exploring the area. Thanks for everything Jackie - will definitely recommend Virasol!
House was perfect for all the family especially the little ones
By Lee N on 24-Aug-2013
We went with our children, their partners and granddaughters and found the house excellent with enough space for us all. The garden was fantastic with being fully enclosed we felt safe to let the granddaughters have some freedom and the hot tub was a winner with all. We had some lovely days out with perfect weather. Our favourites were Peppa pig world, Bournemouth beach and Weymouth sea life. There is a good fish and chip shop and shops in walking distance from the house. Over all a perfect holiday.
Dream House in very handy location
By Skipneasy on 21-Jul-2013
My husband and I and a group of our friends stayed in the house for a long weekend during the fabulous spate of good weather we had in July 2013. We were very pleasantly surprised to find the house is exactly as described and shown in the pictures and really does have everything you could think of or need. This made for a fantastic weekend break as we were able to relax completely, explore the local village, cook bbqs while lazing in the garden and once the night drew in we found ourselves gathered in the quirky living areas playing board games and watching movies. Having never visited the New Forest before, there was plenty to see in close proximity to the house though I would advise having a car as it makes traversing the moderately fast and twisty roads much easier and means you can get out to see the many local attractions. We visited the beach at Highcliffe, the local pubs and shops, went horse-riding at Birley Manor, cycled through the New Forest and squeezed in a day trip to Isle of Wight. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this holiday home (and it definitely feels like a home) to all, and hope to return myself one day.
