Medieval centre of Seillans includes a Baker, Newsagent, Post Office, Bank, Grocer, Pharmacie, Doctor, Dentist. All this yet within 50 mins of Nice Airport , 25 mins Cannes. Beautiful beaches of Frejus and St Raphael less than 45mins. Lac de St Cassien (15 mins. with all water sports and Pedalos for children - alongside restaurants/snacks). Superb Terre Blanche Golf Club (15 mins) 2 X 18 hole courses. Gorge du Verdon (45 mins)
Seillans is perfectly located for exploring the beauty of the Cote d'Azur. Seillans village with its fortified ramparts and cobbled streets, fountains and its charming local activities offers a 'living' village to its visitors. Apart from the charming nearby local villages, there is the Lac de St Cassien just 15 minutes away with rowing, wind surfing, paddle boats and restaurants. Golf is all over the Cote d'Azur, with the nearest ones at Mandelieu, Frejus, La motte or Grasse.

Restaurants and the coast: There are several good restaurants all within a few minutes walking distance of the house. Sit by the village fountains and soak up the atmosphere of this medieval village. The nearest beaches are at Frejus or Mandelieu - Cannes. It takes about 45 minutes . Seillans is well known for its Festivals which take place largely in the village square opposite the house. There is a local supermarket with a larger one 10 minutes away by the roundabout of Fayence, 10 minutes by car. The bread shop is literally around the corner from the house next door to the fountain. There is a good butcher in the main street and a news agent and post office, grocer and chemist . Children may like to practise their French and shop for the daily croissants.
Local attractions: Lac deSt Cassien is 15-20m drive for fun on the lake. There are also water sports, paragliding and a nearby Aerodrome at Fayence for gliding, which has a restaurant. Fayence (4 km) is renowned for Gliding and is one of the most popular in europe. Terre Blanche Golf and Country Club is 15m drive with 2 x 18 hole magnificent courses along with a health spa and hotel run by the Four Seasons Group.
A refundable £200 damage deposit cheque is required before your arrival which will be refunded within 4 weeks of your departure minus any damages.
