This beautiful, spacious property is situated in a peaceful location and is only a five minute walk from the centre of the village.
Bagnols en Foret is a pretty medieval village with a small, twice-weekly market and several restaurants and bars. There is also a tabac, two boulangeries and a post office with an ATM machine. A five minute drive away from the house is a Carrefour supermarket and automated petrol station. Opposite the supermarket is a medical centre and a pharmacy.
There are stunning views from every window and it has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard, including air conditioning throughout. Set in expansive, secluded gardens with a large pool (12m by 6m, shallow end 1m, deep end 2m). Paddling area for small children. The pool benefits from solar heating year round, with additional heating available by separate arrangement. The house is ideal for both couples and families. It is perfect for children as the gardens are fully enclosed and gated
The accommodation comprises 4 large bedrooms, with en-suite facilities. The master bedroom has a king size bed,en-suite bathroom with bath, shower enclosure, bidet, twin basins and WC. A further 3 bedrooms have twin beds and en-suite shower rooms with shower and basin. There are two separate WCs adjacent to the bedrooms. In each bedroom there is ample hanging space and storage and direct access onto the lower wraparound terrace as well as stunning views of the Esterel Hills. The open plan living space is on the entrance level and comprises a lounge area with 2 sofas, additional seating, games table and open fireplace. There is a screen and internet TV system showing UK channels, sport and films, plus a DVD player.
Doors open onto an east facing terrace with a table and chairs for eight, comfortable outdoor sofa, large umbrella for shade and steps down to the garden. The lounge area opens onto the dining area with a table that seats eight,. The covered south-west facing terrace is accessed through double doors, a table and chairs to seat eight and fabulous view across the hills. There are also doors onto a further west facing terrace with a table and four chairs and gas BBQ.
The well planned kitchen has a large American style fridge freezer with ice making function (there is also an additional fridge in the garage), ceramic hob, oven, microwave and ample work surface and a separate walk in larder. There is also a cloakroom on this level.
The property is accessed through double gates down a sweeping drive at the bottom of which there is outdoor parking for 2 cars and a garage. The washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in the garage which has an internal door to the main house. Outside there is a Petanque court and a covered area with a table tennis table. The house has WFI and a Bluetooth speaker. Swimming towels and hair dryers are provided. There is also a cot, cot bedding and a high chair if needed.
Cleaning is included in the rental price and bed linen, bath towels and swimming towels are provided. For rentals of more than one week the house is cleaned and clean laundry and towels are provided weekly.
The changeover day is SUNDAY and the minimum booking is 7 nights.
